Hope you're all safe and well, and that this light art brings you a smile today, in spite of everything going on in the world 💙💛 It's been a bit hectic here with uni and life, and I haven't had enough chances to create new light art that I'm happy with, so here's one more from the wood behind the seats at .bar, taken during karaoke a few weeks back.
As always, I really love seeing all your different interpretations of my art, so feel free to leave a comment telling me what you see ☺️

Hope you're all safe and well ☺️ With the gradual easing of lockdown here in Canberra, I should be back to using my flute during karaoke at .bar soon (normally one of the highlights of my week). Tell me what these trails remind you of, and if you think this might brighten someone's day, share it with them 🙂

Hope you're all safe and well ☺️ I've been in a little bit of a creative rut recently—produced a few things I liked, but not quite enough to post. Inspiration struck on the way home from karaoke, when I wondered whether the patterned fabric on the bus seats would make a good subject (hence the unsubtle hint on my story) 😝
You be the judge. What do you see in these light trails?

After an ineffectual 2 month boycott of Instagram, the likes seem to be back, and I'm glad (though I'm under no illusions that I had anything to do with it).

Instagram's toxic elements stem from selective presentation and highly edited content giving off an unrealistic image of life. For art accounts, that was always completely irrelevant. If the kind of content you're seeing in your feed is contributing to feelings of envy, inadequacy, body image issues, or anything else negative, seek help, unfollow those people and look for art instead.

Most of my light paintings remind me of the experiences that led to their creation. This one will always remind me of tonight: a brilliant evening of music with old friends at the imp_canberra Back to Band Night, a surprise spark plug malfunction afterwards, and lots of quality time spent in conversation while we waited for a tow truck 😊
