We had such a beautiful evening last night in Paris 🎶

Our first Parisian salon in support of Altalena just opened in the most gorgeous flat near Montmartre. Huge thanks to Pauline and Laurent for organising, and to Juliette and Garance for playing so beautifully. Juliette is a student of Rieko Aizawa at Bard College NY, and Garance is just completing her first year at the Paris Conservatoire. The audience brought such a lovely energy that it really felt so special.

These salon evenings are one part of something bigger. Altalena exists to support performing artists in building sustainable and fulfilling lives as performing artists — through masterclasses, residencies, mentorship, and a community that genuinely has each other’s backs. The salons are where that community comes together, meets, and grows — an international circle of friends who love music and believe that artists deserve real, lasting support.

Our salons are already running in Budapest, thanks to and in New York, thanks to with London and Shanghai on the way. Whether it’s an intimate evening like last night, a recital, or our festivals in Tuscany and Hungary — if you’re an Altalena member and find yourself anywhere in the world where we have a concert, you are always welcome.

After the summer we’ll be back in Paris, continuing to build this together 🙏

Meet the Workshop Instructors of the ALTALENA Summer Residency July 12-19, 2026 ✨

At ALTALENA, learning extends far beyond the practice room. Alongside world-class musical training, participants will have the opportunity to explore creativity, wellbeing, performance psychology, communication, neuroscience, artistic identity, photography, yoga, body awareness, and much more.

Our workshop instructors bring together expertise from the worlds of music, science, business, wellness, visual arts, and personal development, creating a unique environment where artistic growth and personal growth go hand in hand.
