"Time is a strange thing. People believe it buries the past the stories, the memories, the names. Centuries have passed since then. Kings were born and died, and empires rose and fell.
But I still remember. The color of the sky that day. The smell of blood in the dust. And the look in Kalav’s eyes… when he looked at me and did not defend himself. As if he knew this was how it would happen.
The battle lasted six days. Cities were reduced to dust, the earth split open, and yet everyone whispered one name in fear: Kalav. They said he wanted to take the energy that keeps this world alive. They said he wanted to rule over it.
I was the one who stopped him.
In the final battle I forced him to his knees, and when he fell silent, the world breathed again. I remember the cheers, the crowd celebrating me as a hero. They called me the Guardian of Peace.

"Furcsa dolog az idő. Az emberek azt hiszik, eltemeti a múltat a történeteket, az emlékeket, a neveket. Évszázadok teltek el azóta. Királyok születtek és haltak meg, birodalmak emelkedtek és omlottak össze.
De én még mindig emlékszem. Az ég színére azon a napon. A vér szagára a porban. És Kalav tekintetére… amikor rám nézett, és nem védekezett. Mintha tudta volna, hogy ez így lesz.
A harc hat napig tartott. A városok porrá omlottak, a föld meghasadt, és mindenki egyetlen nevet suttogott rettegve mégis: Kalav. Azt mondták, el akarja venni az energiát, amely életben tartja ezt a világot. Azt mondták, uralkodni akar felette.
Én voltam az, aki megállította.
Az utolsó csatában térdre kényszerítettem, és amikor elhallgatott, a világ fellélegzett. Emlékszem az ujjongásra, a tömegre, amely hősként ünnepelt. A béke őrzőjének neveztek.

Milyen ironikus.
A vér nem felejt. És ha a világ egyszer rájön az igazságra… talán azt is megérti, milyen könnyű lenne újra lángba borítanom az eget...."
