Acrobatics for Dancers with Csuzi

Acrobatics for Dancers with Csuzi From 6 of January 2026, every Tuesday and Thursday 18h-20h in Inspiral
Circus Centre. No pressure. No judgement. No “one-size-fits-all” approach.

This is a small-group acrobatics coaching program designed specifically for dancers who want to bring acrobatic movement into their practice safely, confidently, and creatively. Apply via e-mail: [email protected]

You will learn to use the following tricks safely, confidently, and artistically:

Arab wheel, Macaco, Dive roll, Twist roll, Aerial, Back handspring, Kip up

But more importantly:
-

You gain the physical foundation
Strength, coordination, speed, sensitivity, and body awareness tailored for these tricks.

- You overcome mental blocks
Fear, hesitation, “I can’t do this” patterns — we work through all of them.

- You integrate tricks into dance
Both choreography and improvisation, without looking like “gymnastics dropped into dance.”
- You get personalised guidance

Everyone receives their own progression pathway.

I know that these are historical times, and everyone is busy with politics, but don’t forget to step out of it shortly time to time! Celebrating with us these achievements in the video is probably a good way to do it! I’m very proud of them! We will continue the work with this group and in the meantime start from scratch with a new one on a beginner level! First with an open class free of charge to test it before commiting to it. This week we started building a phrase using the techniques we’ve been practicing.

I’m genuinely proud of them. They are already far from where they began. Each dancer is finding their own way into acrobatics — some techniques come easily, others require more work. But even the “fails” are landing exactly where they should: as part of the learning process.

There’s no option of not progressing here.

And they’re enjoying it.

Very soon, they’ll be among the few dancers in the country who can perform these moves confidently on stage.

We still have a little over a month left. It’s not too late to join — but it is time to decide.

This is the third week, we are getting stronger, more agile and more confident, we have lots of fun, and the group is growing. Good news: It is still not too late to join, there’s a couple more spots!

“I have a complicated relationship with acrobatics — it attracts me as much as it scares me.
From the first day, I felt this workshop was different.

Marci approaches acrobatics as a game, with a strong focus on mental release, playfulness, and full commitment — especially in the mind.

The space felt genuinely safe: mats, time to understand movements, slow exploration, and real permission to fall.

What surprised me most was how much autonomy this approach builds. Instead of being over-guided, we were encouraged to explore, repeat, fail, and find our own way — with precise, personal feedback when it mattered.

I saw clear progress in others and in myself during this workshop.”

This is the environment I’m building again from January.

“I had no previous experience in acrobatics, yet I felt very comfortable trying — and failing.

It felt like being a kid again, learning through play.

Instead of being constantly corrected, we were encouraged to find our own safe way into the tricks. That made my body and mind stay active the whole time.

The warm-ups were intelligent and playful, the atmosphere supportive. When someone succeeded, the whole group celebrated it.

I practiced patience, joy in failing, and humility — and I always left the class feeling warm and happy.”
