Bold blues. Glittering details. A little bit of chaos.

When the Lights Go Out is one of those paintings you can get lost in — the longer you look, the more you notice.

It’s a statement piece, but somehow it knows how to belong. I love seeing how easily it works across completely different interiors and styles, adding colour, depth and a little bit of drama without taking over the room.

When the Lights Go Out is available for sale. ✨

If someone asks me what’s the biggest compliment an artist can get.

For me, it’s this.

When someone tells me they can’t stop thinking about a painting.

Not because they understand it.
Not because they know anything about art.
Simply because something about it stayed with them.

That’s the kind of connection I hope my work creates.
Last week I shared that I’m trying to measure success a little differently.

Messages like this are part of that. So if any of my paintings stay with you, do tell me 🤍

I’ve been having long discussions with myself, with friends and fellow artists.

And I think I am starting see my feelings and the reasons behind them more clearly.

Creating, sharing your work, then still having them with you when you are ready to let them go and want them to have a purpose, to mean something to someone else too.. this whole process isn’t easy.

It’s easy to spiral and feel lost from time to time, especially when you slow down after a busy season.

What I have to accept:

I can’t decide who connects with my work.
But I can make sure they have the chance to.

So that’s what I’ll keep on doing and remind myself in times of self doubt, that I am doing my part and that’s what matters.

So dear Csilla,
would you please chill the F out
and enjoy what you are doing?
Thank you!
P.S. I am proud of you!

Yesterday’s opening was such a joy. Thank you to everyone who came, spent time with the paintings, and stayed for the conversations.

Getting to hear your thoughts, your interpretations, and the stories you connected to the artworks is something I’ll never get tired of. It’s one of the best parts of sharing my work.

Thank you for being there and making it such a memorable evening.

I left feeling inspired, grateful, and already looking forward to the next one✨

A painting isn’t finished when it leaves my studio.
It’s real story only begins when it finds it’s place in someone’s life.

What’s your story and what would the art on your walss say about you?

“Dear Universe” was the favourite painting of the opening night and it’s one of the most special pieces to me as well.

I painted it during a time when I felt deeply at peace with myself and with my place in the world — or in the universe, or in the matrix… however we choose to call it.

Whenever I look at this piece, it brings me back to that feeling of trust and quiet certainty. The sense that I’m exactly where I need to be.

“Dear Universe” is a reminder to keep walking my own path and let things unfold in their own time.

The past few weeks have been a lot.

Putting together an exhibition is equal parts exciting and exhausting. For a while, I was operating at 100%—planning, organizing, painting, talking, showing up.

And it was absolutely worth it.

The conversations, the kind words, the support, the feeling of seeing people connect with my work—those are the monents I’ll draw strength from when I need it.

But even so, I can feel that it’s time to recharge.

So for a little while, I’m retreating into my cozy little cocoon: quiet days in the studio, paint on my hands, and plenty of snuggles with Kifli.

No big plans. No rushing.

Just making space for the next wave of inspiration to arrive.

Vibrations: Inner Landscapes opening

This was such an amazing and colourful event! I got to present my work in my “almost home town” with 3 of my favourite people on stage with me.

Congratulations to .arnold to new book and to .peter and .heidi to her performances!

The exhibition is on display until the 26th of June at the gallery.

Showcased pieces are available for purchase after the show.
