My relationship with has been a long and steady one. Funny enough, I never thought I’d become someone who genuinely appreciates wine — I’ve always been a at heart.

A hely, ahol nem kell fölállni a vacsora után.
Budapest gasztronómiai térképe az elmúlt évtizedben megnyílt: világszínvonalú japán, kínai, orosz konyha – mindegyikből van legalább egy hely, ami nemzetközi mezőnyben is megállja a helyét. Olasz étterem és nápolyi pizzéria is bőven akad, de az az olasz életérzés, az a textúrákból, ízekből és egy adott könnyedségből megteremtett hangulat, amit egy toszkán falu teraszán vagy egy római sikátor pincéjében érzünk, itthon szinte sehol sem található. Évek óta inkább megveszem a repjegyet Bariba vagy Torinóba – egyszerűbb, mint reménykedni. Ezzel az előfeltevéssel léptem be a Király utcai Popolaréba. Sometimes, more stories are born around a sofa than we might think.

The EVA Conversations event series has officially begun — created by NO55.studio founders .timi and with the intention of building new themes, new perspectives and real human connections around the EVA sofa.

The first morning event focused on meditation, self-awareness and quieting the mind.

In a world filled with constant noise, information and pressure to keep going, we spoke about how to find the inner silence from which true inspiration and creativity can begin.

The special guest of the conversation was Török Kata , whose personal experience with burnout led her to meditation, breathwork and a more conscious way of living.

One of the strongest thoughts of the morning was this:

Meditation is not a performance.
It is presence.

It does not require a silent mountaintop or a perfect lotus position.

Sometimes, it can happen right where life already happens.

On a sofa.

EVA was designed for the everyday moments of life — and now, those moments are becoming the beginning of an entire conversation series.

Conversations. Silence. Connection. A sense of home.

A model gets sick on the day of the photoshoot. Say no more. I’m ready to play the plus one 🫡😎

But honestly? This shoot was never about “perfect models” anyway.
It was about real life. Real faces. Real bodies. Real energy.

Yes, some of them modeled or acted before — but none of them feel like the industry “norm”. And that was exactly the point.

We wanted people with presence. Character. Stories in their eyes. The kind of beauty you can’t really cast from a standard agency board. The kind that carries that impossible-to-explain un je ne sais quoi.

The same thing we believe Wonder Hotel Budapest has too.

A little imperfect. A little unexpected. Warm. Human. Magnetic.
And honestly? That’s always more interesting to look at.
