Gecsei Gabriella — A Csend-átjárói
Belső szentélyek Charbon Art Café & Bar : Megnyílt „A Csend-átjárói” című grafikai kiállítás. ​Miután az Átjárók hídján átléptünk és megpihentünk Isten tenyerén, a belső utazás egy rejtettebb rétege tárul a látogatók elé. A Charbon Art Café legújabb tárlata a mikrokozmosz és a végtelen találkozását hozza el a művészetkedvelőknek.
​A kiállított portrék a látható és a láthatatlan mezsgyéjén egyensúlyoznak. Nem csupán arcok jelennek meg a papíron, hanem belső tájak, ahol a sötét, éji mélységből előbukkanó arany szent geometria formálja meg a lélek térképét. A tárlat vezérképe – amely egykor Isten tenyerén elhelyezkedő, nagyméretű, mély tónusú mű volt – most új kontextusban hívja elmélyülésre a közönséget.
​A kiállítás látogatói egy olyan belső utazás részesévé válhatnak, ahol a külvilág zaja elhalkul, és a szemlélő találkozhat önmagával, valamint a mindenséggel.

Inner Sanctuaries at Charbon Art Café & Bar : The graphic art exhibition "Passages of Silence" has opened
Having crossed the Bridge of Passages and rested upon the Palm of God, a more hidden layer of the inner journey unfolds before visitors. The newest exhibition at Charbon Art Café brings the encounter of the microcosm and the infinite to art lovers.
The exhibited portraits balance on the boundary of the visible and the invisible. Not merely faces appear on the paper, but inner landscapes, where golden sacred geometry, emerging from the dark, nocturnal depths, shapes the map of the soul. The masterpiece of the exhibition—once a large-scale, deep-toned work set upon the Palm of God—now invites the audience to contemplation in a new context.
Visitors to the exhibition can become part of an inner journey where the noise of the outside world fades away, and the observer can encounter themselves, as well as the universe.

Women are still visibly underrepresented in the wine industry. Meeting a female sommelier may not be particularly unusual as women tend to have a higher density of fungiform papillae and a greater sensitivity to certain tastes. However, female winemakers still remain a relatively small group in the industry.

From our own experience visiting wine fairs and wineries, we have encountered only a few wineries run solely by women, and MARO Wine in Slovenia was one that truly stood out. We visited them just a week ago and were welcomed with incredible hospitality, professionalism and knowledge.

This mother-and-daughter duo is reviving a centuries-old winemaking tradition in their family, a history that survived wars, political upheaval and the loss of much of the family's property. The depth of knowledge and passion they bring to their wines is remarkable, and their work has already received international recognition, including , and

Our manager, Gabriela, was especially impressed and felt honoured to be able to bring an extensive selection of MARO wines to Budapest - not only as a celebration of excellent wine, but also as a way to highlight what women can achieve in an industry where they remain underrepresented.

We're happy to finally announce the long-awaited vernissage of Lucia Kiss.

Join us on Wednesday, July 1st, for the opening of her new exhibition.

Some of you may remember Lucia from the pop-up exhibition she held at our café in April, where she gave us a glimpse of her work. This time she's back with a larger selection of artworks, specially chosen for our space.

We have some marvelous news: 21 (!) new organic wine varieties will soon be arriving at Charbon!

It was quite a journey to bring them to you. We first traveled to Milan, where we tasted hundreds of wines and carefully selected just a handful of wineries. A month later, we returned to Italy to learn more about the production process, visit the vineyards, and meticulously choose only the very best wines for our collection.

Everywhere we went, we were met with incredible hospitality and genuine warmth. We discovered that venturing off the beaten path in Italy truly pays off: the relatively undiscovered regions of Marche and Abruzzo offer outstanding wines, aperitivi, and olive oils of exceptional quality.

We are deeply grateful to our hosts and cannot wait to share our latest enological discoveries with you! 😉

Végtelenül hálásak vagyunk , amiért egy teljes hónapon át a művészetével varázsolta el a Charbon otthonát. Olyan sok kíváncsi, elmerülő tekintetet láttunk a képei előtt, és biztosak vagyunk benne, hogy ezek az alkotások egy kis inspirációt, szépséget és elgondolkodnivalót vittek sok ember mindennapjaiba.

Ma van az utolsó nap, amikor még megtekinthető a kiállítás, úgyhogy ne hagyjátok ki az alkalmat, hogy élőben is találkozzatok a művekkel.
