🔴Szeretettel ajánljuk figyelmetekbe művészünk, Januško Klaudia Késem alatt című egyéni kiállítását, amelynek megnyitójára október 9-én kerül sor a Kassák Múzeumban.
Januško Klaudia a 2025-ös Kassák kortárs művészeti díj nyertese. A Késem alatt című kiállításban a díjhoz kapcsolódóan létrehozott új munkáit mutatja be.
Januško Klaudia Késem alatt című egyéni kiállítása a női test alakíthatóságának ellentmondásaiból indul ki. A módosítás önalakítást ígér, ugyanakkor azokhoz a normákhoz is igazodik, amelyek kijelölik, milyen test számít kívánatosnak. A szépészeti beavatkozások és a videójátékok testre szabható karakterei itt egymás mellé kerülnek: mindkettő az Én egy másik változatának lehetőségét kínálja.
Januško Klaudia 2024-ben szerzett diplomát a Magyar Képzőművészeti Egyetem Festőművész szakán. Erasmus-ösztöndíjjal tanult a finn Aalto Egyetem Visual Cultures, Curating, and Contemporary Art programjában, jelenleg az Oslo National Academy of the Arts Fine Art mesterszakának hallgatója. Legutóbb elnyerte az ACAX -díjat, amelynek keretében 2027-ben kéthónapos ösztöndíjas rezidenciaprogramon vesz részt New Yorkban, a Residency Unlimited programjában, a Trust for Mutual Understanding támogatásával.

🔴We are pleased to recommend the solo exhibition Under My Knife by our artist Klaudia Januško, which opens on 9 October at Kassák Museum.
Klaudia Januško was the recipient of the 2025 Kassák Contemporary Art Award. Under My Knife presents a new body of work created in connection with the award.
The solo exhibition Under My Knife explores the contradictions inherent in the malleability of the female body. Modification promises self-fashioning, while at the same time conforming to the norms that determine what kind of body is considered desirable. Cosmetic procedures and customizable video game characters are brought into dialogue here: both offer the possibility of becoming another version of the self.
Klaudia Januško graduated from the Painting Department of the Hungarian University of Fine Arts in 2024. She studied in the Visual Cultures, Curating, and Contemporary Art programme at Aalto University in Finland through an Erasmus scholarship and is currently pursuing an MA in Fine Art at the Oslo National Academy of the Arts. Since 2022, she has participated in numerous group exhibitions, including at acb Gallery, Trafó Gallery, and the Studio of Young Artists’ Association, as well as in New York, Paris, and Athens. In recent years, her solo exhibitions have been presented at the V2 Gallery at Aalto University in Finland, Liget Gallery, acb Gallery, and the gallery space of Művház. In 2024, she participated as a curatorial intern in the SÍM Residency programme in Iceland. In 2025, she was awarded a residency at the Cité Internationale des Arts in Paris, and in 2026 she was a scholarship recipient of the Goyki 3 Art Inkubator residency programme in Poland. In 2025, she received the Kassák Contemporary Art Award and was also a finalist for the TÓTalJOY Award and the MODEM Award. Most recently, she received the ACAX Award, through which she will participate in a two-month residency programme in New York in 2027, hosted by Residency Unlimited and supported by the Trust for Mutual Understanding.
