This was a first for me: I created ambient fully live â no backing track, just biofeedback synth, loops, voice, and flute (and a lot of tricks in my pocket I learned along the way đ )
It was a magical feeling. At several points I caught myself drifting so deeply into the sound that I completely lost track of where I was. So miraculous, so rare I'm filled with gratitude for that experience.
This happened at Atno, during the third edition of a charity auction of unique, single-edition vinyl records, organized by Dióbél Kiadó to support venues that have been forced to close.
(During the set, I also played a piece that had already been featured on one of the auctioned records.)
The audio in this video only captures a fragment of how it sounded and felt in the room, but the experience itself was so defining that I still wanted to share it.
Thank you for KovĂĄcs BalĂĄzs and Rei Szinok for their work and for having me, and for creating a space where music can exist like this. âš
Also huge thanks for the soundengineer who had the most supportive vibe.
