A Flow Színház impró színházzal foglalkozik. Alapítója és vezetője Farkas Ábel impró tréner, matematikus kutató és bűvész. Tartunk készségfejlesztő impró színházi tréningeket, előadásokat és csapatépítő tréningeket, magyarul és angolul. Mindenkiben megvan a képesség az improvizálásra, hiszen minden nap ezt tesszük. A színjátszásban egy lényeges nehezítő körülmény, hogy m

ások néznek minket, és úgy érezzük, elvárják, hogy alakítsunk valamit. Ez sok feszültséget szül bennünk, és megnehezíti, hogy természetesen viselkedjünk. Az impróban egy másik jelentős nehézség, hogy fogalmunk sincs, mit fog a társunk (társaink) csinálni, és ahhoz hogy kapcsolódjunk. Tréningjeink során olyan irányelveket, technikákat gyakorlunk, melyek segítenek, hogy a fent említett nehézségeken úrrá legyünk. Ezen módszerek alkalmazása túlmutat a színjátszáson, és az élet más területein is hasznos, mint például a társas együttélés, csapatmunka és kommunikáció.

The Flow Theatre conducts improv theatre. The founder and director is Ábel Farkas improv instructor, research mathematician and magician. The theatre holds improv theatre workshops, performances and team buildings. Everybody has the ability to improvise. We do it in our everyday lives. In the theatre, others are watching us, and we feel we are required to perform well. This creates frustration within us and makes it difficult to act naturally. In improv, another obstacle is that we have no idea what our partner(s) will do and how we can create the connection between us. This uncertainty creates further frustration. During our workshops, we practise principles and methods which help us overcome and master these problems. The application of these methods go beyond theatre and could be useful in many areas of life, such as relationships, teamwork and communication.

Megint egy fejlődésben gazdag évadot zártunk. A hosszú- és rövid-forma kurzuselőadások június 23-án voltak a hab a tortán. Mindkét csoport kitett magáért és egy szuper előadást játszottak nekünk. Idén nyáron is megrendeztük az angol és a magyar nyelvű táborokat. Májusban Ábel a bukaresti Improteca impro fesztiválon vett részt, mint meghívott tréner és fellépő. Egynapos workshopjaink magyar és angol nyelven továbbra is lehetőséget biztosítottak az alkalmi fejlődni vágyóknak.Ősszel Ana és Ábel részt vettek Portugáliában egy négyhetes impró programban nemzetközi trénerek vezetésével és több ízben fel is léptek. Most egy kisebb nyári leállás következik, de augusztusban hétfőnként Ábel tart majd nyitott műhelyeket. Szeptembertől pedig a megszokottak szerint indul újra az élet és hétfőnként indul majd egy új zárt csoport szeptember közepétől.

We've wrapped up another season full of growth and development. The long- and short-form course showcases on June 23 were the icing on the cake. Both groups gave it all and played fantastic performances. This summer again we organized both our English and Hungarian improv camps. In May, Ábel attended the Improteca Improv Festival in Bucharest as a guest teacher and performer. Our one-day workshops in both Hungarian and English continued to provide opportunities for those looking to develop their improv skills occasionally. Last Autumn Ana and Ábel took part in a four-week improv program in Portugal led by international trainers, where they performed on several occasions. Now we're taking a summer break. From September, we'll be back to our regular schedule.

Beginning of May Ábel Farkas was a trainer at Improteca - The Festival. He delivered two workshops and acted in four shows. His reflections on the festival:
"Such a friendly community. Improteca is a popular improv school in Bucharest, has its own theatre and rehearsal rooms. My workshops had a very positive reception. The trainers Cindy Pittens, Liron Barre Levin, Dan Codreanu, Lieze Walcarius, Sophie Kneebone and myself performed together in a few shows and we were great support to each other, but we could not do it without the pianists Marco van Duuren and Vlad Pasencu. The main organiser, Andrei Bratu did an excellent job with bringing his dreams to life. Thanks to the whole Improteca team for the support and the community for the warm vibes. It was an amazing week!"
