From Gracia Mendes Nasis daring rescue of persecuted exiles to Franceska Mann’s final act of resistance, from Hannah Szenes’s bravery to Hedy Lamarr’s brilliance, this coloring book invites engagement with their stories, not just through words, but through bold lines waiting to be brought to life.
Unfolding Herstory features trailblazers in art, activism, science, and survival: Gracia Mendes Nasi, Sarah Schenirer, Emma Lazarus, Hannah Szenes, Judith Leiber, Marianne Cohn, Hedy Lamarr, Emma Goldman, Franceska Mann, and Bella Abzug — inspired by the article “10 Jewish Women From History You Should’ve Learned About in School” by Clara Sophia Camber (Hey Alma, 2019).
To these ten, three visionary Hungarian Jewish artists have been added:
Ilka Gedó, Julia Vajda, and Margit Anna, each a singular voice shaped by history, memory, and creative force.
