Our brilliant and powerful soprano Dragana Radakovic is going back to “Sydney Opera” for the fourth time to participate again in one of the world’s greatest opera masterpieces “Turandot” by genius Puccini!

Dragana Radakovic will appear in 12 performances. February 20, 23 & 27. March 1, 5, 8, 12, 16, 19, 23, 27 & 30.

In famous Puccini's opera Turandot in the leading role of Princess Turandot at “Joan Sutherland Theatre 🎭 “ Opera Sydney.

We are honoured that our soprano is a part of such amazing opera at “Joan Sutherland Theatre”❤️

Tonight at the Croatian National Theater , a masterpiece of sacred music, Verdi's Requiem and debut of Croatian opera superstar Lana Kos, after 10 years again on stage of Croatian National Theater.

By her side brilliant colleagues Dubravka Separovic Musovic mezzosoprano, Stjepan Franetovic tenor and Luciano Batinic bass, accompanied by a wonderful choir and orchestra under the baton of Marcello Mottadelli.

Tonight, our brilliant and beautiful soprano Dragana Radakovic and her collegues left the audience in “Opera Nice” speechless with their performance, in beautiful historical theatre in the Azure Coast.

Our magnificent soprano Dragana Radakovic is going back to “Sydney Opera on Harbour” 2019. for the third time to participate again in one of the world’s greatest outdoor opera event.

Dragana will appear in 12 performances ( February 20, 23 27. March 1, 5, 8, 12, 16, 19, 23, 27 and 30. in famous Puccini's opera Turandot in the leading role of Princess Turandot.

Dragana sing up such an important contract with Sydney Opera for the third time which makes us very proud.

“The real triumph of the evening, however, was Melanie Diener’s portrayal of Senta. Despite the Kostelnička costuming and distracting stage direction of running in and out of doors with the rapidity of a ditsy Tupperware sales-girl, Diener displayed an astonishing vocal quality with absolutely effortless top B flats and B naturals, putting the German soprano in the same league as the great Sentas of the past. The voice is Nilsson-esque in size and volume and cut through the tsumani of orchestral sound like an intonated torpedo.

An important major musical change in the original version is that Senta’s ballade was written in the key of A minor. At the premiere in Dresden in 1843, the celebrated soprano (and fellow part-time political agitator) Wilhelmine Schröder-Devrient was unable to manage the punishing high tessitura of the scena and Wagner agreed to transpose it down a tone to G minor – a practice which is generally followed today in the three-act version. Unlike Madame Schröder-Devrient, Diener sailed through the multiple top A naturals, sustained G’s and riveting top B natural of the ballade without a soupçon of strain or stridency. This was in all respects a tour-de-force performance and hard to believe that it was Diener’s first attempt at the role. Undoubtedly there will be many more.”

After a sensational debut as Ilia in Mozart's Idomeno in 1996 year, she soon became an exceptional interpreter of genius Mozart, and later as Wagnerian and Richard Strauss heronine.

Today, December 09. our youngest vocal artist Mladen Prodan is having his debut appearance as soloist in Beethoven's The Symphony No. 9.

Alongside with great RTS Symphony Orchestra (The Symphony Orchestra of the Radio Television Serbia), maestro Bojan Sudic and other soloists in Sava centar, the largest congress, cultural and business center in Serbia.

We are proud of Mladen who worked hard to prepare himself for performance of Beethoven's masterpiece and we wish him good luck today.
