Last night, the Church of St. Servulus in Buje breathed in harmony with the voices that filled its historic space with warmth, strength, and beauty. Croatia Choir Fest once again showed how music can connect people, cities, and cultures - and how a single moment of togetherness can stay with us for a long time.

The stage welcomed ensembles whose performances created an evening we will cherish:

• Klapa Sveti Jakov - Jadranovo, Croatia

Each group brought its own sound, its own story, and its own emotion. Together, they shaped a concert that filled the church with harmony, tradition, elegance, and a sincere love for music.

To all performers - thank you for being part of this year’s Croatia Choir Fest and for enriching our festival with your voices.

To our wonderful audience - thank you for filling the church last night. Your applause, your attention, and your warmth added beauty to every note.

A heartfelt thank‑you also goes to the City of Buje and the Visit Buje Buie for their support, trust, and openness toward culture and music. Without you, moments like these would not be possible.

Novigrad last night lived through something truly special - the very first Croatia Choir Fest in the beautiful Loggia Belvedere.
The atmosphere was warm and full of heart, the kind that makes you stop for a moment and simply enjoy the music.
A wonderful crowd, an enchanting setting, and performances that filled the space with emotion and harmony.

The festival brought together choirs and vocal groups who each carried their own story, sound, and spirit:

Croatia Choir Fest brings together vocal ensembles that turn Croatian towns into stages of unity, tradition and artistic expression. The festival blends diverse musical identities, creating an atmosphere filled with harmony and emotion.

🇭🇷 𝐊𝐥𝐚𝐩𝐚 𝐒𝐯. 𝐉𝐚𝐤𝐨𝐯 (𝐉𝐚𝐝𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐨, 𝐂𝐫𝐨𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐚)
Founded on the enthusiasm of local singers in 2014, Klapa Sv. Jakov began its artistic rise in 2022 under the direction of Frane Frleta. The ensemble brings together nine members united by a love for multipart singing and coastal heritage. Their work combines traditional klapa style with contemporary projects, representing the Primorje region on national and international stages. Klapa Sveti Jakov

Lira, founded in 1996, gathers eleven women who share a passion for music and collective expression. Their repertoire spans traditional songs, modern arrangements and contemporary vocal styles. Known for clarity, elegance and refined harmony, Lira brings warmth, freshness and the distinctive energy of a women’s ensemble to Rijeka’s vocal scene. Vokalna skupina Lira

With more than forty years of cultural tradition, KUD Martin Matetić continues to preserve Jadranovo’s musical identity. Its mixed choir, led by maestro Ivan Nino Načinović, performs a repertoire rooted in local heritage enriched with modern choral arrangements. The ensemble is recognized for its balanced sound, dedication and strong sense of community.

Founded in 1993, Amadeus has shaped an impressive artistic journey with more than 760 concerts across Europe. Their singers, aged 62 to 86, bring a lifetime of musical devotion to the stage, performing sacred, classical and folk repertoire under the direction of Inga Dziluma, founder and conductor.

𝐀𝐧𝐬𝐚𝐦𝐛𝐥 𝐉𝐀𝐍𝐄 (𝐕𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐚 𝐆𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐚, 𝐂𝐫𝐨𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐚)
Established in 2004, Jane proudly carry the heritage of Turopolje, reflected in their traditional name. They perform songs from all regions of Croatia, preserving folkloric and church melodies while embracing new works by leading Croatian composers of traditional music. They have collaborated with professional musicians and the HRT Tambura Orchestra, earning gold medals at international choir festivals and Olympiads - most recently in Helsingborg, Sweden (2026). One of the best female vocal ensembles in Croatia, celebrated for their refined interpretation of traditional songs. Jane bring a unique emotional depth and stage elegance that consistently captivates audiences. Ansambl JANE

🎺 Croatia Brass Fest - Buje 28 August & Novigrad 29 August

We have wrapped up another wonderful edition of Croatia Brass Fest, held on 28 August in Buje and 29 August in Novigrad.

Two days filled with music, tradition and outstanding performances brought by Krakowska Orkiestra Staromiejska from Poland and Limena glazba Zajednice Talijana Buje from Croatia - two ensembles whose sound connected both towns and captivated the audience.

A heartfelt thank you to all participants, hosts and everyone in the audience who created the atmosphere that keeps this festival growing and thriving year after year.

CROATIA BRASS FEST | FULL CONCERT
Buje, August 28, 2026

Last night, San Servolo Square once again became a place where music brings people together, where tradition turns into emotion, and where the sound of brass fills the town with a warmth only a live concert can create.

Two remarkable ensembles took the stage:

🎺 Limena glazba Zajednice Talijana Buje - our hosts, guardians of the local musical tradition, who once again showed how much love, dedication and community spirit they carry in every note.

🎺 Krakowska Orkiestra Staromiejska - an orchestra from the heart of Poland, whose elegance, energy and rich sound won over the audience from the very first moment.
