Step into THE MILKY WAY – an immersive dance installation for babies aged 6–18 months and their grown-ups. A soft universe of colours, shapes, music and movement invites little explorers to crawl, wander, touch, discover and dream together. Every object stimulates the senses in a different way, creating a shared artistic experience for babies and adults alike.

✨ A special dance theatre experience for children and families in Vienna! ✨

We warmly invite you to MINIMI, an award-winning interactive contemporary dance performance for children aged 4–10 and their families.

Created and directed by Sanja Frühwald, MINIMI unfolds at children’s eye level, inviting audiences into a playful world of movement, imagination, friendship, and discovery. Through dance, music, visual storytelling, and interaction, the performance explores what it means to be small, to grow, to belong, and to find your place in the world.

Developed in collaboration with students of the Dance Department of the Academy of Dramatic Art Zagreb , MINIMI is a unique international cooperation between ADU Zagreb and . With this project, ADU becomes one of the first dance academies in Europe to systematically engage with choreographic and performance practices for young audiences.

Well… the forest has something to say before it goes on holiday. 🌲👀

Tomorrow at 10:00 AM, ICH BIN DER WALD returns to Vienna’s Prater for what is our last Viennese forest performance before the summer break. 🐿️💚

We’re especially happy and grateful that the City of Vienna’s Bildungschancen program by WienXtra has made this performance possible! Being part of this wonderful initiative means that even more children can experience the magic, mystery, and many voices of the forest. 🍃✨

Join us for an interactive audio walk where earth worms sing, mushrooms gossip, leaves tell stories, and trees may have a few important things to say about how they’re doing these days. Expect dancing, listening, moving, imagining, and perhaps discovering that humans and forests are not so different after all…

🌍🛠️ WAS WIR BAUEN (6+) – PlayShop diesen Samstag, 23.5. in Wien!

Was wollen wir bauen? Wie stellen wir uns unsere Zukunft vor? Und wie können wir sie gemeinsam gestalten?

In diesem besonderen PlayShop für Kinder ab 6 Jahren wird getanzt, gebaut, erfunden, improvisiert und gemeinsam gespielt. Mit zeitgenössischem Tanz, körperlichem Forschen und kollektivem Spiel entdecken die Kinder Möglichkeiten des Miteinanders – mit ihren Körpern, mit Raum und mit Materialien des Bühnenbilds für eine neue Produktion von VRUM performing arts collective

Gemeinsam entstehen Mauern, Wege und Brücken. Es wird balanciert, getragen, verbunden, auseinandergebaut und neu zusammengesetzt. Die Kinder probieren aus, entscheiden mit und entwickeln spielerisch eigene Ideen und Bewegungen – allein, zu zweit und in der Gruppe.

We warmly invite choreographers, dancers, performers, theatre makers, educators, dramaturgs, and researchers to join us for an immersive workshop exploring eco-feminism, Slavic mythology, and contemporary performing arts for young audiences.

Rooted in eco-feminist thinking and inspired by mythological figures such as Baba Yaga, Rusalka, Mokosh, Vesna, Zorya and others, the workshop opens the artistic research behind Mothers of Earth — a new interdisciplinary performance by Sanja Frühwald and VRUM Performing Arts Collective.

Through physical improvisation, voice and rhythm explorations, image work, and collective composition exercises, participants will explore the body as a place of transformation, ritual, resistance, and connection with nature.

Together we will reflect on how choreography, sound, object work, and spatial practices can create immersive and inclusive experiences for young audiences growing up amidst ecological uncertainty and social change.

The workshop also includes a lecture and public discussion on the themes and methodologies of Mothers of Earth.
