“Pustinja / The Desert” is one of the standout singles from Sara Renar’s acclaimed fifth album Nježne rijeci (Croatia Records, 2026) - widely cited among the year’s strongest Croatian releases and built around the idea of tenderness as a form of resistance. Having co-produced and mixed the original together with Renar, Jan Kincl reworks it into four versions - a remix and a dub, each with its instrumental - with Lovro Öhlhofer on bass guitar, keeping the original’s quiet tension intact. Out on Croatia Records, 19 June 2026.
