Upravo objavljeno na današnjoj press konferenciji, Dachverband Tanz Deutschland, da je koreografkinja Rafaële Giovanola, umjetnička direktorica CocoonDance dobitnica prestižne njemačke nagrade za ples: DEUTSCHE TANZPREIS 2027.

"The German Dance Prize is awarded to outstanding figures in the world of dance in Germany. This spring, the jury selected the 2027 award winners. The jury for the German Dance Prize selected the winner and the honorees from numerous nominations submitted by associations, institutions, and dance professionals. The jury has awarded the German Dance Prize 2027 to Rafaële Giovanola – in recognition of 25 years of exceptional artistic achievement and her pioneering contribution to contemporary dance. The jury honors Rafaële Giovanola not only for her outstanding body of work, but also for her lasting influence on contemporary dance. Her artistic legacy inspires future generations and enriches the world of dance through imagination, consistency, and originality. The German Dance Prize and the honors will be presented on Saturday, March 13, 2027, at the Aalto Theater in Essen as part of a dance gala."

43. Tjedan suvremenog plesa je iza nas.

Kroz dva festivalska bloka, 24 programa i događanja, 16 predstava i izvedbenih programa te umjetnike i kompanije iz 9 zemalja, zajedno smo slavili pokret, susret i suvremeni ples.

Od Zagreba do Zadra, kroz predstave, radionice, participativne programe, izložbe i razgovore, festival je okupio više od tisuću posjetitelja i ispunio festivalske prostore novim iskustvima, emocijama i perspektivama.

Hvala svim umjetnicima, izvođačima, partnerima, volonterima i publici koji su bili dio ovogodišnjeg izdanja.

Vidimo se ponovno. 🩷

The 43rd Dance Week Festival has come to an end.

Across two festival editions, 24 events, 16 performances, and artists and companies from 9 countries, we celebrated movement, encounter and contemporary performance together.

From Zagreb to Zadar, through performances, workshops, participatory programmes, exhibitions and talks, the festival brought together more than a thousand visitors and filled its venues with new experiences, emotions and perspectives.

Thank you to all the artists, performers, partners, volunteers and audiences who made this edition possible.

Sinoć je KUC Travno zatvorio festival uz Shakespeariu Krakow Dance Theatrea (PL).

Predstava inspirirana Shakespeareovim ženskim likovima donijela je snažan spoj pokreta, atmosfere i emocionalnog intenziteta, vodeći publiku kroz prostor između ludila, identiteta i unutarnjih svjetova Ofelije, Lady Macbeth i Julije.

Vizualno moćna i fizički intenzivna izvedba bila je snažan završetak ovogodišnjeg programa TSP VOL.2.

43. Tjedan suvremenog plesa je završen. 🔚

Last night at KUC Travno, Shakespearia by Krakow Dance Theatre (PL) closed the festival.

Inspired by Shakespeare’s female characters, the performance brought together powerful movement, atmosphere and emotional intensity, guiding the audience through the inner worlds of Ophelia, Lady Macbeth and Juliet.

Visually striking and physically intense, Shakespearia marked a powerful ending to this year’s TSP VOL.2 programme.

The 43rd Dance Week Festival has come to an end. 🔚

Večeras u KUC-u Travno publika je uronila u Unfolded Moments autorica Enye Belak i Kristýne Peldové.

Intimna, snažna i emotivna izvedba otvorila je prostor susreta, bliskosti i trenutaka koji ostaju dugo nakon završetka predstave.
