MAXtv Filmofeel presents Avvantura Sunday on t-portal. From Sunday, December 2
2nd, Avvantura Film Festival gets an online edition (http://bit.ly/1htPEjz) – first online festival in Eastern Europe – Avvantura Sunday on t-portal as a member of the large film family MAXtv Filmofeel. From December 22nd, as a part of the first eastern European online film festival “Avvantura Sunday” on t-portal, every Sunday from 6pm until midnight at http://avvantura.tportal.hr Croatian audiences will have the opportunity to watch uninterruptedly and free of charge two films screened at the Festival. All this thanks to a successful cooperation of the Avvantura Film Festival, Wide management and t-portal. All of you who miss the Sunday festival date will have the opportunity to watch the films within the Video on Demand with a minimum fee of 0,99 euros (7,50 kunas). Avvantura Film Festival, which will celebrate its fifth birthday in August 2014, focuses on European co-production and follows global trends. With the help of the revolutionary VOD (Video on Demand) platform on the partnering tportal (Filmofeel) and in collaboration with Loic Magneron, Eye on Films and Wide label Avvantura will open its doors from December 22nd to a wide audience that will be able to enjoy debut titles by European authors. Avvantura Sunday is a project of the future which still has not been implemented in most countries in the world and it is happening for the first time in Eastern Europe. It offers exclusive free of charge screenings of new films, works by debuting directors, young actors… We would say “little” films which are harder to distribute to viewers, and they can rarely be found in programs of multiplex cinemas and TV- said Sergej Stanojkovski (http://bit.ly/1evj0Aq), founder/director of Avvantura Film Festival and added that: “Avvantura Sunday is not reserved only for cold blockbusters- in it you can open a window into the colourful world of the seventh art!”
Since its beginning, Avvantura Festival was oriented towards young authors, co-production and transmedia. Avvantura Sunday was therefore a logical step forward which was contributed by a perennial collaboration with Croatian Telecom through Festival sponsorship. The advantages, quality and comfort of the online journey through film worlds were recognized by Avvantura Sunday’s good fairy, the famous Croatian actress, Judita Franković. “I am proud of the online festival project and am looking forward to Avvantura Sundays. I’m also very happy with the fact that I will be able to watch the films outside the free-of-charge period”- said Judita about the project.
