I'll be back behind the decks, playing again, but my real goal is much bigger — creating my own events around Zagreb and bringing my Future-Tech vision to life.
Every single day I'm working on this project. It takes time, dedication, and a lot of money for equipment, but I truly believe I'm building something different. I've never seen or heard anyone doing it quite like this before, and that's how I know I'm on the right path.
There are still around 300 tracks I need to buy and study. Thankfully, many of the old classics are now being remastered, which is amazing. I'm collecting music, samples, loops, acapellas, drums, atmospheres, FX, and everything I need to create a unique live experience.
The most exciting part is that every set will be different. I could play a 5-hour set in one club and another 5-hour set somewhere else, and they would never be the same. That's the beauty of Future-Tech — a constantly evolving performance built from live remixing, layering, effects, and creativity.
The journey ahead is long. I estimate about two years of collecting gear, learning, practicing, and refining the concept. I still need to improve my finger drumming on Maschine, learn keyboard playing, master advanced layering techniques, and continue building my sample library.
I'm focused on compressors, delays, echoes, remix decks, atmospheres, and live manipulation. When the first pieces of the complete setup arrive in my little home studio, things will really start moving.
Right now I'm already practicing with my Behringer mixer, Maschine Mikro, and Traktor. I have roughly 30% of the gear needed for the full Future-Tech setup. The system is growing step by step: X1 controllers, F1 remix decks, MOTU Hybrid interface, MIDI clock synchronization, and much more.
In the next few days I'll be adding a Roland MIDI clock device to improve synchronization between Maschine and Traktor. At the moment, syncing four Traktor outputs with Maschine can be challenging, but I'm finding ways to make it work.
For now, I'm practicing, selecting tracks, designing sounds, building remix decks, and evolving every day. The goal is simple: bring Future-Tech to the stage, perform it live, film it, and show the world what I've been building. Hopefully promoters, managers, and club owners will recognize the vision and give me the opportunity to present it in front of an audience.
The road is long, but the excitement is even bigger.
Until next time...
Stay cool, my Future-Tech family. ❤️🔥
