🎤 🎬Od sljedećeg tjedna kreće nova sezona Caffe Cinema :) Prvi u nizu panel-razgovora bit će posvećen Johnu Carpenteru i njegovom kultnom ostvarenju "Noć vještica" iz 1978. Gost panela je Benjamin Pintarec, redatelj, scenarist i filmski selektor TFF, a odnedavno i univ.mag. hist. :)

Dragi prijatelji, u subotu se opet družimo🍺🍺 😃 Obavezno dođite u P4 jer premijerno prikazujemo naše novo zlodjelo CONSUMATOR: THE LAST CARROT. Film je snimljen u produkciji Rebl Film u kombiniranoj režiji Hižak-Sokol-Jarmić prema futurističkom scenariju koji su zajedno ispekli Pintareci, Kličeki, Prsteci, Mačeci Hižaci, Kubičeci i svi ostali koji su tokom proljeća pohađali SCHKAF i/ili su se s nama zabavljali smišljajući zgode i nezgode korporativnog otpadnika Johna Basica. Dio filma ste fragmentarno vidjeli na dodjeli Zlatnih motorki pa je sad prilika da ga pogledate u integralnom obliku s prologom i epilogom :) Nakon Consumatora slijedi Kristal krvi naše bratske družbe FilmKreativ koji smo doduše pogledali, ali svakak bi trebalo ponoviti gradivo, tim više što su nam Benjamin i Fićo pripremili i 18-minutni after-film "Kristal Krvi- Behind the Scenes". Vrhunac večeri je naravno Venganza koja je imala postprodukcijske porođajne muke pa smo na TFF gledali nedovršenu verziju. Ovog p**a Pero, Bernie & Mislav imaju spremnu, renderiranu verziju Venganze s efektima, titlovima i zvukovima! Film je nastao u koprodukciji Rebl-a i Garaže i uključuje cijelu armiju varaždinskih naturščika 😄 Za one koji izdrže sve tri projekcije, imamo posebnu nagradu: Karaoke! 🎤 😄 Vidimo se (i slušamo) u subotu!

Best Sci-Fi: THE LEAGUE OF EXTRAORDINARY EMPLOYEES by Melissa Arcak

JURY'S STATEMENT:
Great humor, amazing VFX and an overly ambitious 42 minute film, made by very young people, this film shows what is possible when there is will and motivation. Therefore, the golden chainsaw for best sci fi goes to Melissa Arcak for the movie The League of Extraordinary Employees.

Best Horror and Best Film Audience Choice: THE INSPECTOR (EL REVISOR) by Jandro

JURY'S STATEMENT:

This was the most dificult category to choose the winner from. In the end, the decisive factor was that this film achieved a lot in terms of cinematography, mise-en-scène and dramaturgy - it took a big task on itself and it completed it extremely well. Therefore we are happy to give this award to Jandro for the film El Revisor (The Inspector).

Best long-feature: CHAINSAWS WERE SINGING by Sander Maran

JURY’S STATEMENT
This film was so great that the director of the festival decided to create a category for a long-feature film just so this film could be shown on the festival. This plus the fact this film took 13 years to make, shows a dedication to the filmmaking craft that deserves this award. The film brings music, gore and humor together in a very original and unique way and therefore we believe this groundbreaking film will become a classic in its genre. For this reason the Golden chainsaw goes to Sander Maran for the film

Best action: DAGIAN by Peter Docze

JURY’S STATEMENT ON DAGIAN

This film creates high tension and feeling of empathy towards the main character, by using a beautiful cinematography and well executed stunts. Combining action and horror through original storytelling, this film achieves depth and emotional impact within a remarkably short runtime, despite having only a few scenes. For these reasons, the Golden Chainsaw for Best Action goes to Peter Docze for the film Dagian.
