The band’s goal is to build a bridge between the past and present of the genre, creating captivating sounds that blend electronic elements with traditional instruments like the theremin , Moog , Electronics , and, above all, masterful playing on the lap steel guitar. The band members strive to preserve the roots of the blues by reinterpreting them in a modern context and enriching them with contemporary elements to produce a fresh and immersive sound. With this fusion of classic and modern elements, Marco Bartoccioni offers an eclectic and fascinating musical experience, combining the nostalgia of the genre’s origins with the energy of its modern evolution. Marco Bartoccioni’s In Trio is accompanied by Marco Polizzi on bass – an experienced rock musician who has performed with Marco on stages across Europe – and Aurora Di Rocco on drums, who brings energetic and engaging rhythms, reinforcing the band’s dynamics and cohesion. In 2013, Marco appeared in the Readers' Poll of BLUES MAGAZINE in Poland in the categories of "Best InternaIonal Guitarist" and "International Discovery of the Year".
