Prickly Neon Collection

Each photograph is the reflection of a moment in time and a specific place where the sudden movements of hands and the body play a major role in how the light travels through the lens to reach its truly unique outcome.

Canvas texture makes the photographs appear slightly faded, providing them with a 'retro' feel that promotes nostalgia.

Grandpa's sink

'I picked up a brush in November 2021 and this is the first painting I have ever done that is the sink in the bathroom of my grandfather's home. What may seem like a simple painting of still life, leads to so much depth that I find myself further mused with each stroke of white blending into grey in a way that speaks to the shadows. I am hopeful.

This painting represents the potential of what it means to be able to highlight stability in an appealing way, having been through instability that’s been sprouting recklessly and aggressively as far back as I can remember.

While painting, colours are not what they seem, white is never white, black is never black.

The interpretation of fluidity of colours to real life issues helps me cope and on a personal level, that makes all the difference between feeling okay and not feeling okay in a given moment.'

First two entries from a new collection that I'm working on.

Village Collection

Inspired by the scenery in Jezera village on island Murter where I am currently staying. I plan to have total 30 works when I am done with it.

The collection is made of illustrations of landscapes and various focal points that catch my attention during my stay here, combining two mediums in one work that interfere with each other in an abruptly manner to create what is ultimately a visual oxymoron. More about that later in upcoming posts, stay tuned!
