Last night, the Grand Finale of the 1st International Piano Competition in Split was held at the beautiful Tijardović Concert Hall in Split. At 6:00 PM, the Gala Concert of the finalists began, featuring 11 of the finest pianists of this year’s competition. The performances were outstanding, and the level of competition was truly remarkable.

We are proud to have hosted these young world-class talents in our beautiful city of Split. Our wish is for this competition to become a lasting tradition - one that will bring many promising young artists from around the world to Split year after year.

This year’s award winners are:
🥇 First Prize – Anna Linkova
🥈 Second Prize – Yui Higashijima
🥉 Third Prize – Roberto Rumenov

The Audience Prize was awarded to Faruk Kalayci, while the Prize for the Best Performance of a Croatian Composition went to Nao Tomura.

With this, we officially close this year’s piano competition edition. However, the Split International Music Competition is just getting started! In September, we are looking forward to new competitions in three categories: saxophone, guitar, and cello. More information will be announced soon.

The Final Round of the Split International Piano Competition will take place on March 2, 2026.

Join us at the Ivo Tijardović Concert Hall for a day of outstanding performances by our finalists, beginning at 09:30. The Gala Concert starts at 18:00, and the winners will be announced after the concert.

Free tickets are available at the box office of the Ivo Tijardović Concert Hall.

We look forward to welcoming you to an inspiring celebration of young pianistic talent.

Tonight, the semi-final round of the 1st Split International Piano Competition has come to an end.

The five best contestants have advanced to the final, which begins tomorrow at 9:30 AM at Tijardović Concert Hall.

Our international jury has selected the top 12 contestants and sent them directly to the semi-final. Congratulations to everyone on a successful day.

The semi-final begins tomorrow at 10 AM at the Tijardović Concert Hall.

Tomorrow marks the first day of our piano competition. The first elimination round will begin at 9:00 a.m. and will continue throughout the day until the evening.

The event is open to the public, and we invite everyone to join us at the Tijardović Concert Hall and support our talented participants.
