To me, “Can’t You Hear Me Knocking” is hands down one of the baddest, raunchiest tracks the Stones laid down, ever.
Also, there are two interesting pieces of Stones trivia related to their 9th studio album (apart from the roaring he**in addictions) that always fascinated me…

“The working zipper looked incredible, but it quickly became a logistical nightmare for vinyl pressing plants. When the albums were stacked in shipping crates, the heavy metal zippers pressed into the records, scratching the vinyl and warping the sleeves. Eventually, the band had to have the factory workers manually unzip the flies halfway down so the zipper rested against the center label instead of the fragile grooves.”

“The iconic Rolling Stones Lips and Tongue logo made its debut on the inner sleeve of Sticky Fingers. Jagger had commissioned London art student John Pasche, suggesting he use the out-stuck tongue of the Hindu goddess Kali as inspiration. Pasche initially felt it would look too tied to the 1960s Indian culture craze, but after reviewing the image, he created the design. He was paid a flat fee of just £50 ($76) for what would become one of the most recognizable logos in history.”
