Rafael Adobas Bayog is a trailblazing Spanish flutist of Filipino heritage, redefining the possibilities of classical performance through a bold fusion of cultures, genres, and artistic disciplines.

Born in Ibiza, Spain, he began his musical journey at the age of eight under professor Joana Moragues, before continuing his studies in Barcelona with professor Vicens Prats at the Escola Superior de Mรบsica de Catalunya

His artistic formation culminated at the Hochschule fรผr Musik und Theater Mรผnchen, where he studied with Prof. Andrea Lieberknecht, further shaping a voice that is both technically formidable and uniquely expressive.

Rafaelโ€™s rise on the international stage has been marked by exceptional achievements.

A sought-after orchestral musician, Rafael has collaborated with some of the worldโ€™s most prestigious ensembles, including the Berliner Philharmoniker, NDR Elbphilharmonie Orchester, and Tonhalle-Orchester Zรผrich.

His exceptional artistry led to his appointment as Principal Flute of the Iceland Symphony Orchestra Sinfรณnรญuhljรณmsveit รslands just last year, in September 2025, following his tenure at the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra Kungliga Filharmonikerna where he was repeatedly entrusted with principal responsibilities.

Equally compelling as a soloist, Rafael has appeared with orchestras such as the Copenhagen Philharmonic, Mรผnchner Kammerorchester, Norddeutsche Philharmonie Rostock, and Ensemble Resonanz, performing in major venues including ๐‚๐š๐ซ๐ง๐ž๐ ๐ข๐ž ๐‡๐š๐ฅ๐ฅ, Kobe Bunka Hall, and Tokyoโ€™s Hamarikyu Asahi Hall.

His innovative artistry has been recognized by numerous institutions. A true force on the international stage, she is ๐–๐ข๐ง๐ง๐ž๐ซ ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐…๐ข๐ซ๐ฌ๐ญ ๐๐ซ๐ข๐ณ๐ž at 77th Concours de Genรจve and the current BBC Radio 3 New Generation Artist.

Since 2022, she has held the position of Associate Principal Flute of the Frankfurt Opera and Museum Orchestra Frankfurter Opern- und Museumsorchester following her earlier role in the same position with the St. Petersburg Symphony Orchestra (2017โ€“2022).

Her journey is defined by passion, discipline, and an unrelenting drive for excellence.

She began her musical path early with piano, but at the age of 12, the flute became her voice and she has never looked back.

From 2009 to 2014, she studied at the St Petersburg Musical Lyceum under Vladimir Ushakov, before continuing at the prestigious St Petersburg State Conservatory with Professors Olga Chernyadeva and Ksenia Kuelyar, where she completed her postgraduate degree in 2021.

That same year, she took the next bold step, joining the Basel Academy of Music in Switzerland Hochschule fรผr Musik Basel FHNW to study with Professor Felix Renggli

There, she reached the pinnacle of her training, graduating from the Master Soloist program in 2023 with the highest possible distinction, supported by a scholarship from the Lyra Foundation in Zรผrich.

Elizavetaโ€™s artistry has earned her top honors on the global stage. Alice Morzenti is widely regarded as one of the most distinguished and internationally recognized flutists of her generation.

Since 2013, she has held the position of Principal Flute with the Staatsphilharmonie Nรผrnberg Staatstheater Nรผrnberg Freunde der Staatsphilharmonie Nรผrnberg e.V. and has also taught orchestral studies at the Hochschule fรผr Musik Freiburg

Following her tenure as Professor of Flute at the Musikhochschule Trossingen she has last year assumed a Full Professorship at the Hochschule fรผr Musik Nรผrnberg.

Born in the province of Bergamo, Italy, Morzenti graduated from the Conservatorio di Musica Luca Marenzio di Brescia (Conservatory of Brescia) with top marks, honors, and distinction.

She continued her studies with Davide Formisano at the Hochschule fรผr Musik und Darstellende Kunst in Stuttgart HMDK Stuttgart and with Mario Caroli at the Acadรฉmie Supรฉrieure de Musique in Strasbourg, where she graduated with the highest honors.

From an early age, she distinguished herself in international competitions.

As a young musician, she was a finalist at the โ€œPonchielliโ€ Competition in Cremona and went on to win numerous prizes, including โ€œI Giovani per i Giovaniโ€ in Ravenna, the โ€œBazziniโ€ Chamber Music Competition, the โ€œManentiโ€ Competition for soloists and orchestra in Brescia, the International Flute Interpretation Competition in Ovada, the โ€œSeverino Gazzelloniโ€ Scholarship Competition in Florence, the โ€œKrakampโ€ Competition in Benevento, โ€œNuovi Orizzontiโ€ in Arezzo, and the International โ€œMarco Fiorindoโ€ Competition.

Morzenti has performed extensively as both a soloist and chamber musician at major festivals and concert series, including the Falaut Festival, Flautomania at Teatro alla Scala in Milan, Flautissimo in Rome, the Cernobbio Festival, the German Flute Festival in Freiburg and many more.

She has appeared as principal flutist with leading orchestras including the Filarmonica del Teatro alla Scala di Milano, the Teatro Regio di Torino Orchestra, the Gran Teatro La Fenice Orchestra in Venice, the Teatro Comunale di Bologna Orchestra, the Mรผnchner Bachsolisten, the Munich Radio Orchestra, the Munich Chamber Orchestra, the Bavarian State Orchestra, the Philharmonia Zรผrich, and the Bamberg Symphony Orchestra.

In addition to her performing career, Morzenti is deeply engaged in teaching and mentorship.

She regularly gives masterclasses at prestigious institutions worldwide and currently serves as a mentor in the Mentoring Program of the Hochschule fรผr Musik und Theater Munich Hochschule fรผr Musik und Theater Mรผnchen .


Morzenti has also been invited to serve as a jury member in numerous competitions and is an active member of the Kammermusikverein Philharmonie e.V., with which she performs regularly in various chamber music ensembles.

Vincent Cortvrint is the Solo Piccolo Flutist of the world-renowned Royal Concertgebouworkest and Principal Professor of Flute at the prestigious Conservatorium van Amsterdam - positions placing him at the very pinnacle of both performance and pedagogy.

He brings the intensity and artistry of the worldโ€™s greatest stages directly into his teaching, inspiring students to reach their full potential!

From the moment he heard a recording by ๐‰๐ž๐š๐ง-๐๐ข๐ž๐ซ๐ซ๐ž ๐‘๐š๐ฆ๐ฉ๐š๐ฅ at the age of four, Vincent Cortvrint knew his future. Fascinated by the sound of the flute, he pleaded for the instrument until he finally received one at seven - marking the beginning of a remarkable musical journey.

Born in Belgium, Cortvrint studied at the Brussels Conservatory with Michel Lefebvre before continuing in Paris with Michel Debost and Maurice Bourges.

His exceptional talent quickly gained recognition when he won the 16th National Music Contest of the Crรฉdit Communal de Belgique in 1980, performing as soloist with the Flemish Radio Orchestra (now the Brussels Philharmonic ).

In 1996, Cortvrint joined the legendary ๐‘๐จ๐ฒ๐š๐ฅ ๐‚๐จ๐ง๐œ๐ž๐ซ๐ญ๐ ๐ž๐›๐จ๐ฎ๐ฐ Orchestra, a position at the heart of one of the worldโ€™s most celebrated orchestras.

A major milestone came in 2017 when he gave the world premiere of Solastalgia, a concerto written especially for him by the Estonian composer ๐„๐ซ๐ค๐ค๐ข-๐’๐ฏ๐ž๐ง ๐“๐ฎฬˆ๐ฎฬˆ๐ซ.

The performance with the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra was recorded and released on the orchestraโ€™s RCO Live label, further cementing his reputation as one of the instrumentโ€™s leading voices.

Cortvrint performs on a unique golden flute built especially for him by the American flute maker Wm. S. Haynes with the support of the American Friends of the Concertgebouw Orchestra.

Through the same foundation, he also plays other exceptional instruments from its historic collection, as well as a specially developed ๐‘’๐‘ฅ๐‘ก๐‘’๐‘›๐‘‘๐‘’๐‘‘-๐‘Ÿ๐‘Ž๐‘›๐‘”๐‘’ ๐‘๐‘–๐‘๐‘๐‘œ๐‘™๐‘œ ๐‘“๐‘™๐‘ข๐‘ก๐‘’ designed exclusively for him by Jean Yves Roosen.
