We regret to announce that Lis Watkins will unfortunately be unable to attend Sketchbook by the sea this year due to unforeseen circumstances. While we’ll certainly miss having her with us, we’re delighted to welcome Olivia Marcus who will be stepping in as our new instructor alongside and .

Olivia is a French urban sketcher and illustrator based in Toulouse, known for her vibrant colours, dynamic compositions and lively crowd scenes.

Her sketches capture more than places: they convey atmosphere, movement and human presence. In her workshops, Olivia encourages participants to draw with more confidence, freedom and intention — simplifying complex scenes, using colour boldly, and finding their own way to tell stories through sketching.

We can’t wait to see you in Hvar and share a fantastic time together!
