My left hand is in the past, right hand in the future , gaze towards the future, and the courage to be in the present


Yoga is practiced on the mat, but the real yoga practiced is off the mat. As my practice is getting deeper, my understanding of these principles of yoga philosophy is also changing.
I am Greatful for being a student of yoga and choosing to be a student of yoga forever.

P.S. This is my practice picture from my stay in the old town of Dubrovnik. Old town added its own energy in my practice.
This was a beautiful property , right in the center of the old town, and our host was an extremely sweet person.

New month ✨️
New Goals ✨️
This month's goal - celebrating the wins.
We so often reach our goal and in no time create another goal. And in that race, we haven't even processed the win, the accomplishment. I was so stuck on having a full standing split that I wasn't even noticing how much I have progressed.

In my old picture,  if you notice,  my hip is open and I have taken support of the wall  whereas in my latest pic I am doing this with squared hips and without the support of the wall. So, now, I am doing this with the right alignment, and for to me, lift my leg up requires strength.
For so long, I wanted this - lifting my leg this high without any support and now when I had it , I instantly moved on to my next goal until I took a pause and realized what I was doing. I mean, it's not even fair for our goal, right?

How often do you do that ?

So make goals, but remember to celebrate them as well.

Do you know from where this idiom " once in a blue moon " came from ?
You might have even hummed the song " Blue Moon " thanks to Grease.

So what is a blue moon ?
When the second full moon occurs during one calendrical month, it's a rare event, and hence the idiom " once in a blue moon"

How does it affect us?
In many cultures, full moon holds great significance, symbolizing change, transformation , and new beginnings.

Are you feeling down ? Negative ? Blahh? You are not alone , full moon heightens our emotional side, making us aware of our wounds, our scars , our triggers.Don't get bothered by these. Instead, confront them . Sit with them. Release every aspect of you that doesn't serve you .
Most importantly, don't do it from a place of resistance but from a place of self-love.

On Independence Day, I am sharing my piece of mind.

During my travels, something I have noticed prominently is that people are skeptical to visit India and, at the same time, are fascinated by the thought of visiting India. For a lot of people, it seems like a far-fetched dream. Every single time I mentioned " India," people wanted to know more about it ( barring the few who already had made few assumptions) how I love to break them😁

So India..

India is beautiful beyond words. That's a known fact - nature has blessed India with diverse beauty from backwaters of Kerala  to Himalayan beauty to Western ghats to North East  to Jannate Kashmir, and there's so much more.

The land of mysticism, the birthplace of yoga

Here restaurants don't charge you for water as in India it's considered that you should offer water to anybody and everybody.And food here is simply fantastic.

Go outside the city, and hopefully, in some parts, you will be surprised by the warmth so much so that if you lose your way, they'll end up dropping you to your destination.

Yes, it's scary here ( I will not deny that either ), but it can also surprise you with its warmth.

Let me not get into the governance as that's a controversial part but what I can say is despite lack of infrastructure, despite not having favorable situations, what is commendable is the reformists who are working in their own capacities towards betterment of India.
Fron the reformists,who back then did not bow down but got us Independence, to the reformists today who are creating India as it gloriously deserves to be.
