A fun four-day event hosting a wealth of galleries and a huge array of contemporary art, Affordable Art Fair Hong Kong takes place in May at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, Wan Chai. Our concept is simple yet unique: an inspiring and friendly atmosphere in which you can find thousands of original paintings, prints, sculpture and photography all under one roof, and all between HK$1,

000 and HK$100,000. The work of young, emerging artists hangs alongside some of the biggest household names, while the compulsory labelling of all the artwork means you know exactly what suits your budget.

🔎Discover three galleries shaping thoughtful contemporary dialogue: E.N Gallery, TOPOHAUS, and Y Arts Projects.

1️⃣E.N Gallery presents a carefully curated selection of contemporary works, bringing together emerging and established artists whose practices reflect a strong and distinct visual language.

2️⃣TOPOHAUS operates at the intersection of art, design, and spatial thinking, offering works that engage with architecture, materiality, and the rhythms of modern life.

3️⃣Y Arts Projects foregrounds experimental and cross-disciplinary approaches, supporting artists who challenge conventions and expand the boundaries of artistic practice.

Together, these galleries offer a nuanced perspective on contemporary art—each grounded in its own curatorial vision, yet collectively contributing to a wider conversation on creativity, form, and cultural expression.

🔎今日我哋一齊嚟細賞三間具策展視野嘅畫廊：E.N Gallery、TOPOHAUS 及 Y Arts Projects。

1️⃣ E.N Gallery 精選當代藝術作品，匯聚新晉與資深藝術家，展現鮮明而成熟嘅創作語言。

2️⃣ TOPOHAUS 立足於藝術、設計與空間思考之間，透過作品探討建築、物料同現代生活節奏之關係。

3️⃣ Y Arts Projects 則聚焦實驗性及跨媒介創作，支持突破既有框架、拓展藝術邊界嘅藝術家。

Today we’re spotlighting three standout galleries from Mainland China you need to know:

1️⃣Shanghai-based E Gallery is all about “bringing art into everyday life.” With a cross-disciplinary approach, they create immersive experiences that blend art seamlessly with daily living, all while exploring meaningful dialogue between art and life through a global lens.

2️⃣INX Collective, based in Shenzhen, is bursting with energy. Founded by three artists—Gloria Carnevale (Canada), Mheral (Peru), and Fox Pretorius (South Africa)—this dynamic group is part of the International Shenzhen Artist Forum. Specialising in printmaking, their works reflect a rich fusion of cultural identities and artistic perspectives.

3️⃣Beijing’s M&T ART is dedicated to discovering diverse talents and pushing boundaries across different artistic mediums. Representing a mix of emerging contemporary artists from both China and around the world, they’re all about fresh voices and bold creativity.

1️⃣位於上海嘅E Gallery以「讓藝術融入生活」為核心理念，為公眾呈現跨界藝術融合嘅藝術體驗。秉承國際化視野，探索藝術同生活嘅深度對話；

2️⃣以深圳為基地嘅INX Collective充滿活力，由三位分別來自加拿大、秘魯同南非嘅藝術家Gloria Carnevale， Mheral同埋Fox Pretorius組成。作為International Shenzhen Artist Forum嘅成員，佢哋主打版畫印刷，反映各自不同嘅藝術及文化背景；

As a British brand, it’s our honour to bring you the show “Brit-ish” back in May at Affordable Art Fair Hong Kong. We would like to say a huge thank you to the British Consulate General Hong Kong! Without its support, the 15 artists across various practices would not be able to greet all art lovers and collectors in Hong Kong!

Being curated by Hugo Barclay, our Fair Director from Affordable Art Fair UK, “Brit-ish” reveals the many ways contemporary British identity is lived, questioned and reimagined. Taking place in Hong Kong, the cross-cultural convergence explores how belonging is formed not through fixed definitions but through exchange, encounter, and a willingness to embrace multiple truths.

🍊The tradition of depicting still life in art has a long history, challenging not only an artist’s technical skill but also their ability to convey meaning through their work.

By capturing the interplay of light and shadow between objects and their surroundings—along with the subtle changes and unpredictability present in the moment of creation—even the simplest subject can hold layers of depth. What may appear to be a single still object can reflect a complex and shifting state of mind, waiting for you to discover. 🕵🏻

🍊以靜物為題入畫嘅藝術傳統由來已久，考驗嘅除咗係藝術家本身嘅技藝，更加係測試藝術家表達作品訊息嘅功力。

透過物件本身同周圍環境嘅光影去渲染氣氛，加上作畫當下可能嘅變動同不可控因素，令作品嘅主題雖然可能只係一件靜物，但藝術家喺創作時嘅心境已經千迴百轉，有待您去發掘！🕵🏻
