Capoeira and Sustainability Workshop.
Its workshop proposal is to promote a debate about the sustainability of the practice and teaching of capoeira.

In 2018, in the firm of disciples, masters, contra mestres, professores and graduados, Mestre Cícero starts a new task in the world of capoeira, the project CAPOEIRA DE VALOR, a decentralized and collective proposal to share knowledge and friendships through meetings and experiences of capoeira. It is one more challenge and commitment to the preservation, appreciation and teaching of capoeira.

Black Awareness Day (Dia da Consciência Negra in Portuguese) is celebrated in Brazil on 20th November. It was created in 2003 as ephemeris included in the school calender - until it was officially instituted nationwide by the law no. 12 519, of 10th Novemver 2011, being a holiday in about thousand cities acrosss the country and in the states of Alagoas, Amazonas, Amapá, Mato Grosso and Rio de Janeiro through state decrees. In states that have not adhered to the law, the responsibility of each city council, which decides whether it will be a holiday in the municipality.
The occasion is dedicated to a reflection on the insertion of black people in Brazilian society. The date was chosen because it coincides with the day attributed to the death of Zumbi dos Palmares, in 1695, one of the greatest black leaders in Brazil who fought for the liberation of the people against the slave system. Black Awareness Day is considered important in recognizing African descendants and in building Brazilian society. The date, among other things, raises questions about racism, discrimination, social equality, inclusion of blacks in society and Afro-Brazilian culture, as well as the promotion of forums, debates and other activities that value African culture.
