今屆「AIA健康校園挑戰賽2025/26」香港賽區兩所得獎學校已經順利誕生，除咗早前嘅小學組得獎學校，我哋亦都邀請到中學組得獎學校香港真光書院嘅康嘉文老師分享學校對於建立健康校園風氣嘅諗法。

The secondary winning school for the AIA Healthiest Winning Schools Competition 2025/26 is Hong Kong True Light College. We spoke with PE teacher Hong Ka‑man about the culture they’ve built and the steps taken to achieve it.

She shares, “Community service can nurture empathy, responsibility, and social connection. It encourages students to care for others, and enhances their sense of purpose. Our students participate in visits to elderly homes and lower-income families in the district and make a positive difference in people’s lives. Through these experiences, students learn to give and serve those in need. 今屆「AIA健康校園挑戰賽2025/26」香港賽區兩所得獎學校已經順利誕生，今期專訪邀請到小學組得獎學校香港康樂園國際學校嘅體育與戶外學習教師暨文化主任Dean Squire同我哋分享學校喺促進學生身心健康方面嘅舉措同成果。

The winners of the AIA Healthiest Schools Competition 2025/26 have been announced! We spoke with Dean Squire, PE and Outdoor Learning Teacher and Head of Culture at the primary winning school International College Hong Kong (Hong Lok Yuen), about the progress made in supporting students’ mental wellbeing.

Dean shares, “Students are now more confident in discussing their emotions and identifying strategies that help them feel calm, focused and ready to learn. International College Hong Kong（康樂園）憑多元化嘅活動同專門為心理健康設計嘅課程奪得小學組別獎項；而香港真光書院就以其全方位，涵蓋健康飲食、動感生活、心理健康同健康與可持續發展嘅計劃，勇奪中學組別冠軍。祝兩間學校喺嚟緊嘅區域總決賽再創佳績，角逐總決賽大獎！

ICHK Hong Lok Yuen Kindergarten and Primary earned the primary school award for their activities and curriculum focusing on mental wellbeing, while Hong Kong True Light College topped the secondary school category with their holistic wellbeing programme. 【💡 Spotlight on YAFies: Mo@Draw2 Studio】

Fuse「藝術學堂」踏入第三年度，計劃持續為來自低收入家庭及少數族裔背景嘅青少年帶嚟各種藝術體驗，今年更擴展至有特殊學習需要學童。

今期專訪我哋邀請到計劃藝術家Draw2 Studio嘅Mo，同我哋分享佢喺工作坊嘅觀察同啟發。佢話：「以前覺得紮作一定要穩固耐用，後來先發現，過程中嘅嘗試同修補都係創作一部分。有小朋友用斷籐枝拼出更特別嘅形狀，反而更有趣。唔再俾固有規限，創作更會創意無限。」即到 https://bit.ly/3PYBAd9 睇完整訪問。

Now in its third year, 𝐁𝐮𝐫𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐲 𝐅𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: 𝐅𝐮𝐬𝐞 continues to bring diverse arts experiences to young people from low-income and ethnic minority families, now also including children with SEN.

In this month’s Spotlight, paper crafting artist Mo who shares his experience on his Fuse workshops, “I used to think that paper crafting work must be sturdy. However, in the process, I learned that attempts and repairs are also part of the learning. Some students used broken rattan sticks to create shapes that couldn’t be made with standard sticks, and it turned out to be even more interesting.
