Check out these comic style pieces, finished by Club Third artist Cath Love, for Nocino’s newest sister brand, Stübli! Chef Matthew Ziemski wanted a fun way to share “Fondue Penalities” through an artistic and decorative approach. So we stepped in and provided the solution! Inspired by French comic Asterix & Obelix, which many children of European backgrounds have read, Cath delivered a modern take by presenting Shan Shan, the chef’s cute pooch and characters in present day fashion with linework reminiscent of the comic’s artist, Albert Uderzo. The pieces are executed with a mix of spraypaint and acrylic. Additionally, we also created a hand-drawn style information card for patrons to learn about fondue culture and etiquette, once more featuring the restaurant’s key mascot, Shan Shan the Bernese Mountain Dog. Do go sample their menu soon, now open in Kennedy Town!

Talk about crazy heat! Our latest mission was to adorn the Dough Bros Sai Kung wall with their brand themed Jeliboo, which was a challenging, yet rewarding experience. We came with the shade solution for Cath to paint safely. Still, we needed to bide our time and only paint during cooler hours. The result is a win. Artist Cath Love focused on the brand’s famous dip/sauce and pizza combo alongside their famous doughnuts. So “Lost in the Sauce” is an apt title for the mural. The DB staff were very helpful from start to finish. Our heartfelt thanks to them!
Mui Thomas came to say wussup and provide Cath with banter. All in all we’re very pleased with the outcome and hope to work with again!

Do you want to know the inspiration behind Nocino’s mural that Club Third artist Cath Love painted at their Central location? Simply visit “Tradition & Perfection” exhibition at University Museum and Art Gallery at HKU, currently on until the 7th of June. The show has extensive displays of brilliant Swiss and Chinese paper art, skillfully cut to perfection (like the title). Both cultures have deep tradition and history in paper craft, so it’s only right to bridge the 2 collections together, to compare style and technique. Imported from Shanxi and Interlaken, some artifacts are over 250 years old, while others are crafted in such fine detail, it would only leave viewers in disbelief. It’s a must-see so Club Third insists that you go soon!

Presenting, Cath Love’s “Horsin’ Around” Collection, just in time for the Year of the Horse 2026. Featuring one “Lucky 8 Horses Horsin’”painting in the artist’s rendering and fresh new ceramic ware with playful and whimsical touches. Specially hand-painted, fired at high temperature to ensure durability, these tablewares are sure to delight.

MC Yan aka Syan… POP UP ALERT!

The master has prepared Fai Chun for you, along with displays of hand-painted ceramics and collaborative pieces between Syan and third culture artist Catherine Grossrieder
To kick off the Year of the Horse, word-play Fai Chuns are presented to show the artist’s lyrical prowess and tagging skill. Additionally, art pieces between Syan and Catherine celebrating animal encounters throughout his worldwide spiritual travels will be shown. Naughty Hak Mui the black cat has even left an encounter on Catherine’s hand 🥲
Moreover, Syan began experimenting with painting on ceramics, which will be exclusively exhibited during the pop up.
