有人說，香港人自戀到爆炸，話也多，於是，關於香港地的故事，就是說了又說。詩人也斯 (1948-2012) 就說過，「香港的故事？每個人都在說，說一個不同的故事，到頭來我們唯一可以肯定的，是那些不同的故事，不一定告訴我們關於香港的事，而是告訴了我們那個說故事的人，告訴了我們他站在什麼位置說話。」
錄像人用他們的影像也說著他們的香港故事。「九七」香港故事特別多。
《點播_香港地》放映會及展覽會張羅點播一個又一個香港故事，追溯九七前後至今的香港錄像作品，展開一場與時間的對話，檢視香港的民間歷史及集體回憶是怎樣鍊成的。《點播_香港地》除在不同場地播放錄像短片及紀錄/實驗影片外，亦推出「群策：香港影像回憶」GIF徵集行動，一同參與「群策」計劃，一起搜尋香港影像的滄海遺珠。

像中的香港影像以至精神面貌之餘，亦希望檢視影像媒介隨著科技及媒體日新月異的發展與嬗變。攝錄機是記錄的工具，錄像是創作媒介。自九十年代攝錄機迅速普及，到今時今日人人可以隨時用手機拍攝，錄像生產目不暇接，再配合網絡科技媒體，影像有其獨特的時代樣態。除了單頻錄像放映活動外，《點播_香港地》亦設小型互動展覽。

Reload_Hong Kong
Someone has said that the people of Hong Kong are narcissistic to the extreme and love to talk. Everyone is telling one story and each a different story! In the end, the only thing we can be sure of is that those different stories do not necessarily tell us about Hong Kong itself, but they did tell us the stories of the story-tellers. These stories inform us at what position he/she is talking? The video makers used their videos to tell their version of Hong Kong story. And no doubt, stories about 1997 is particularly abound. Reload_HK selects stories of Hong Kong and flashbacks videos created before and after 1997, and tries to establish a dialogue with time to review collective memories and social history in Hong Kong. Besides showcasing videos at various venues, a video-sourcing campaign titled “CrowdCurate: Hong Kong Meme” will also be launched on Facebook to collect GIFs of the past, and to generate new reflections on these visual memories. CrowdCurate will be a platform for recapping memories and experiencing materials that were lost and found! Reload_Hong Kong not only tries to create a platform for reviewing the images and the spirit of Hong Kong through videos, but also wishes to examine the development and transmutation of moving image and new media which are evolving rapidly with technology knowhow. The video camera is a recording tool while video is the media of creativity. Since video cameras became widely popular in the 1990s, everyone can use their mobile phones at any time, making video production viral and in line with the internet, technology and media.
