While never satisfied resting on their laurels, even starving artists need a place to rest their heads. In that respect, we like to think of Wontonmeen as the hub where Hong Kong’s creative scene starts its day; a unique, diverse living space in the heart of Sham Shui Po that boasts eleven stories of artists, journalists, musicians, designers, teachers, comedians, curators and wing chun disciples.

What was once just 30 flats intended for creatives to get a break on this city’s ever-rising rent has evolved into a fully collaborative community, where everything from film festivals to publications to art exhibitions are hashed out in Wontonmeen’s buzzing "living room". Whether busy at work or just chilling in the communal space, these funky living spaces are a home away from home for locals and expats alike. It’s not just where art gets made; its where art lives.

🎹🎺Win Pongsakorn Lertvanitsutha 現居德國，DownBeat 學生獎「傑出爵士獨奏」得主，JazzWeek 年榜 Top 100 專輯《Yes, It Is!》同《Time Has Changed》（Cellar Music 出品）備受國際電台推崇。呢次佢特登由歐洲飛來香港，聯同 Patrick Lui 雷柏熹 獻上一場 one time only 演出！
Patrick 係 Berklee 畢業鋼琴家，贏過 Marvin Hamlisch 國際音樂獎（爵士作曲）同台中爵士音樂節鋼琴比賽冠軍。佢嘅 Patrick Lui Jazz Orchestra 連年 headline Freespace Jazz Festival，每次都帶十幾支 horns 嘅 big band 震撼全場。最識同管樂手配合，今次同 Win 呢位頂尖 trumpet 擦出火花，預計會有一場精彩爵士對話！

Win Pongsakorn Lertvanitsutha, based in Germany, is a DownBeat Student Award winner for Outstanding Jazz Soloist. His acclaimed albums Yes, It Is! and Time Has Changed (Cellar Music) ranked in JazzWeek’s Top 100 and earned praise from international radio. Flying in specially from Europe, he joins forces with Hong Kong pianist Patrick Lui for a one‑time performance.

Patrick Lui, a Berklee graduate, is winner of the Marvin Hamlisch International Music Award (Jazz Composition) and Taichung Jazz Festival Piano Competition. His Jazz Orchestra headlines Freespace Jazz Festival annually, thrilling audiences with a powerhouse big band. Known for his synergy with horn players, Patrick’s collaboration with Win promises a fiery jazz dialogue not to be missed.

Vincent Choy 是一位活躍於香港及澳洲珀斯的爵士結他手及作曲家。現正修讀西澳表演藝術學院（WAAPA）作曲碩士課程，曾與國際知名音樂人 Frank Gambale、Varijashree Venugopal、Remy Le Boeuf 及 ANJO Youth Big Band 合作演出。Vincent 的音樂足跡遍及多個重要舞台，包括布里斯本 Dots and Loops Festival 及悉尼 Con Jazz Festival，並於2023年獲頒 WAAPA Jazz Honours Award。

Jazz guitarist & composer based between Hong Kong & Perth. Currently pursuing Master of Composition at WAAPA. Performed with Frank Gambale, Varijashree Venugopal, Remy Le Boeuf & ANJO Youth Big Band. 🌊 Harbor Lines Trio｜來自台灣的年輕爵士三重奏

✨ Harbor Lines Trio 由三位活躍於台灣爵士樂壇的新生代音樂家組成，長期於台北及台灣各地爵士場館演出。團名象徵港口之間的連結，靈感來自台灣與香港同為港口城市，透過爵士即興串起城市與文化的交流。
樂團以現代爵士為核心，重視即時互動與音樂流動感，展現年輕世代的爵士語彙。

Harbor Lines Trio is formed by three emerging musicians active in Taiwan’s jazz scene, regularly performing in Taipei and across the island’s jazz venues. The group’s name symbolizes the connection between harbors, inspired by the shared identity of Taiwan and Hong Kong as port cities, using jazz improvisation to weave cultural and urban exchanges.
Rooted in modern jazz, the trio emphasizes real-time interaction and a sense of musical flow, showcasing the jazz vocabulary of a younger generation.

✨ 意大利爵士鋼琴家 Salvatore Bonafede 將於 12 月來港，並在西九文化區與香港著名鋼琴家 Ted Lo 同台演出。期間，他亦會走進細蓉，舉行一場特別的鋼琴獨奏。
這場演出不僅是一場音樂盛宴，更是一份心意。正值大埔火災，我們與 Salvatore 團隊決定將所有活動收益全數捐予註冊慈善機構，確保善款用以支援受災居民。以音樂的力量，傳遞支持與關懷。（活動過後及完成捐款，我們將會透過WhatsApp發出捐款收據給參加者）
每位觀眾都將獲贈一張黑膠唱片，讓這份音樂的溫度延續到家中。
誠邀大家參與，與我們一同感受 Bonafede 細膩而充滿靈魂的琴音，並以行動支持受災社群。

Italian jazz pianist Salvatore Bonafede will be coming to Hong Kong this December, sharing the stage with renowned local pianist Ted Lo at the West Kowloon Cultural District. During his visit, he will also step into Sai Yung for a special solo piano performance.
This concert is not only a musical celebration, but also a heartfelt gesture. In light of the recent Tai Po fire, we and Salvatore’s team have decided to donate all proceeds from the events to registered charities, ensuring that the funds go directly to support affected residents. Through the power of music, we hope to convey care and solidarity. (After the event and completion of the donation, receipts will be sent to participants via WhatsApp.)
Every audience member will receive a complimentary vinyl record, allowing the warmth of this music to continue at home.
We sincerely invite you to join us. Experience Bonafede’s delicate, soulful piano artistry, and stand together in supporting the community in need.

✨ Manson Luk , 活躍於香港及悉尼的爵士鼓手，ZODIAC 樂隊主腦。ABC委約專輯《The Wild Wild East》及新作《From》已發行。
2025亞洲巡演剛結束，澳洲巡演即將展開。這次 重返香港，聯同好友及出色音樂人 Alan Kwan（結他）和 Nelson Fung（低音結他），演奏一系列澳洲與香港的爵士樂曲。演出曲目包括已故音樂大師 Judy Bailey、Alan Kwan、Bowen Li 及 Manson Luk 的原創作品，呈現一場澳洲與香港音樂文化交匯的特別合作。

Manson Luk is a jazz drummer active in both Hong Kong and Sydney, and the bandleader of ZODIAC. His ABC-commissioned debut album The Wild Wild East and his latest release From are now available.
Following the completion of his 2025 Asia tour, an Australia-wide tour is on the horizon. Returning to Hong Kong, Manson reunites with friends and outstanding musicians Alan Kwan (guitar) and Nelson Fung (double bass) to perform a selection of jazz works from both Australia and Hong Kong. The program features original compositions by the late Judy Bailey, Alan Kwan, Bowen Li, and Manson Luk, offering a unique musical collaboration that bridges the sounds of Australia and Hong Kong.

數年前，我們透過外展探訪，認識了當時居於床位的葉海富女士（原名葉麗群）。她現年68歲，獨居於深水埗惡劣居所單位。早前因中風入院，現於明愛醫院接受治療及康復中。

協會同工與教會牧者前往探訪時，海富女士表示，這次病患讓她想起已失聯十多年的家人——她的兩位女兒（羅X玲、羅X嘉）及一位兒子（羅X峰），希望有機會能再次見到他們。

✨ 在今年Freespace Jazz Fest登場之前，結他手兼作曲家 Kurtis Li 與鋼琴手兼作曲家 Patrick Lui，將於 Wontonmeen 帶來一場特別的一夜演出，並由低音提琴手 黃德聰 伴奏。兩位音樂人將演奏各自的原創作品，預先為觀眾送上他們在音樂節中的精彩片段——從抒情的現代爵士到充滿層次的即興對話，帶來一個充滿交流與靈感的夜晚。

Before this year’s Freespace Jazz Fest kicks off, guitarist and composer Kurtis Li and pianist and composer Patrick Lui will present a one-night-only performance at Wontonmeen, joined by double bassist Huang Tak Chung. The evening will feature original compositions from both artists, offering audiences a preview of their upcoming festival appearances — from lyrical modern jazz to richly layered improvisational dialogues. Expect a night full of musical exchange and inspiration.
