Harbour View, TST Hong Kong - Members of the Crusaders Music Ministry (CMM) Mariners Hong Kong Chapter (MHKC) Overseas Archdiocese showed their singing prowess during the 52nd Art Festival of Hong Kong Cultural Center, March 17.
It happened for a reason.
On the said day, members of the CMM Mariners Hong Kong Choir were rehearsing at the Hong Kong Cultural Center for their upcoming Holy Spirit Day Tribute when suddenly, a center staff member approached them and asked if they could sing at the festival.
Rochelle P. Bumanglag, one of the church members who was filming the rehearsals, responded positively to the staff's query. She further told the staff that they were members of the Ministry. Eventually, the group rendered their rendition of the song Awit ng Papuri.
Their performance caught the attention of the Arts Festival attendees. Some took videos and photos to their delight.
After the choir's performance, someone asked them which institution they belonged to. Mrs. Anita Tabuli, a Chapter member, boldly told them they are members of the Crusaders of the Divine Church of Christ.
"We acknowledge the existence of the Living God, our Savior and Holy Spirit, Ama Mons. Dr. Rufino S. Magliba," she added.
The members of the CMM-MHKC are Anita Litaoen, Bless Catbagan, Revelyn Supnet, Sherly Alipio, Anita Tabuli, Carolyn Luis, and Rosalinda Serrano.
