🎨 My inspiration for starting zentangle. Kusama has long used repetitive patterns in her art work. She calls them “self-obileration” -- the endless repetition silencing the noise in her head. Kusama has long held that her obsessive-compulsive disorder fuels her creativity and in return, art has been a therapy for her...and I believe for a lot us too. 💞

In tribute to Spencer Johnson, author of "Who Moved My Cheese" who recently passed away. It was a really inspirational story of two mice🐁🐀, Sniff and Scurry, and two tiny people, Hem and Haw, looking for cheese 🧀 in a maze. When the cheese runs out at Cheese Station C, the mice leave without angst to find more💨
But Hem and Haw resist, refusing to accept change🙈. Haw overcomes his anxiety and ventures out of his comfort zone -- at first timidly, but then, gradually, with more confidence 🏃-- in search 👀 of a new supply of cheese.
Before long, he knew why he felt so good💪. He stopped to write on the wall✒️: "When you stop being afraid, you feel good!"🌻
