5天拉柸、柴窯文化體驗之旅

This October, we’re inviting a small group of creatives, learners, and curious souls to join us in Mashiko, one of Japan’s most beloved pottery villages, for 5 unforgettable days of clay, culture, and connection.

𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀:
🌀 Throw on the wheel (拉柸）with 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐚𝐲𝐨𝐬𝐡𝐢 𝐎𝐭𝐬𝐮𝐤𝐚, second-generation potter of the famous Kenichi Kiln, where tradition meets modern, everyday beauty
👐 Hand-build your own tea bowl (茶碗）with 𝐘𝐨𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐤𝐨 𝐊𝐚𝐬𝐚𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐚, a thoughtful and skilled artist who carries on the legacy of Living National Treasure Tatsuzō Shimaoka
🔥 Visit a working wood-fired anagama kiln （柴燒）and hear stories from 𝐒𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐮𝐤𝐞 𝐈𝐰𝐚𝐦𝐢, a Tokyo-born artist whose love for ceramics has taken him across the globe

🍚 Share fresh, home-cooked Japanese meals, made with local ingredients from the countryside
🏡 Stay in a peaceful village surrounded by nature, where life moves slower—and friendships grow quickly
🎨 Day trip to 𝐊𝐚𝐬𝐚𝐦𝐚, another historic pottery town, to meet contemporary artists and explore their studios
