Meet Tong Bin (1567–1599), revered in Jingdezhen as the “Divine Master of Wind and Fire.” He was a legendary Ming Dynasty craftsman who heroically sacrificed his life to protect his fellow potters from brutal exploitation. Today, his legacy stands as a symbol of the deep passion, courage, and spirit behind the ceramic arts.

A letter to all our supporters :

Hello everyone, thank you so much for all your support throughout these 11 years.

We are hosting a mini charity silent auction event on the 5th of july at causeway bay Regal hotel from 2pm-4pm .

Raising money for underprivileged children who live inside Yunan mountains, China, where I do my yearly volunteer teaching.

All funds goes to kid’s school lunch and books/class materials. Just small 2000rmb per year, affects *HUGELY* on whether they get the chance to be in school or not.

Especially girls, since families cannot afford the 2000rmb yearly, daughters are usually kept behind to work in farms, or to take care of younger siblings or marry off at a really young age.

We invite you all to join this meaningful gathering and spread the love and joy of learning.

It’s mind-blowing to think that while empires rise and fall, well-crafted ceramics can sleep in the ocean for a millennium and still come out shining.

A 14th-century time capsule. 🏺 The Temasek Wreck carried nearly 5 tons of Yuan Dynasty ceramics on its way to ancient Singapore before tragedy struck. Today, these salvaged treasures—from delicate lotus patterns to mysterious poetry bowls—help us piece together history. 🌊

一場來自14世紀的時空膠囊。🏺 「淡馬錫沉船」在前往淡馬錫(今新加坡)的航程中沉沒，留下近5噸的元代珍貴瓷器。從精美的蓮花紋到神秘的詩詞碗，這些出水文物正帶領我們一步步重組歷史的拼圖。🌊
