JPS Gallery Established in 2014, JPS Gallery is an independent contemporary art gallery in Hong Kong and Tokyo

Established in 2014, JPS Art Gallery is an independent contemporary art gallery presenting works of emerging and established artists from around the world. The gallery is founded with a passionate spirt that dedicates to the new digital age and the exploration of the world of fine art and pop culture. We aim to create an innovative environment for a new generation of artists and collectors, fostering a creative space for all. We focus on fun and playful works of the era that spans across different mediums and disciplines, showcasing a discerning selection of works that embody the aesthetics of today. We are committed to supporting the local culture and art scene, creating a vibrant art community in Hong Kong. The gallery regularly presents works of emerging local artists in our Hong Kong and Japan gallery space as well as international art fairs, giving them a chance to gain international exposure, supporting young artists to launch their careers. In a world defined by acceleration, time often slips past us unobserved.

In “Time for the Moment”, South Korean artist Kim Hyunkyung captures the weight of what remains. Rooted in traditional Korean ink painting and shaped by a deeply contemporary sensibility, Kim transforms ‘hanji’, traditional Korean paper, into a physical record of memory, atmosphere, and emotional residue. This solo exhibition serves as an elegant invitation to pause—to look closely at the quiet rhythms of nature and the profound beauty of things that gather over time.

While the installation is incredibly interactive, the pieces on display are not for taking. Please return the missing artwork to the gallery at your earliest convenience so all future visitors can experience the magic together. 🤝

JPS Gallery Tokyo is proud to present our charity exhibition, “THE CHARITY  #01 - Saving Animals Through Art”, organized by Petlog. We are going beyond the canvas—we are thrilled to host special Cat and Dog Adoption Days right here at the gallery! 🏡❤️
