One of our young and talented artist .world asked me to invite sketches to sketch her family owned old HK style cafe which will be closing soon, thus we had a happy sketching party with great works and laughter for the whole afternoon, and accomplished one of Renee’s wish list.
Last but not least, thank you Alex( the boss and Renee’s dad) always look after my car parked outside for not being caught for illegal parking, $400 almost gone on that day. 😝💕🙌🏻

One of our young and talented artist .world asked me to invite sketches to sketch her family owned old HK style cafe which will be closing soon, thus we had a happy sketching party with great works and laughter for the whole afternoon, and accomplished one of Renee’s wish list.
Their food is great and cooked freshly with heart, like this freshly fried chicken thigh, not made beforehand! 😉👍🏻

Had another fruitful weekend with from Sanshui, spent the Sunday morning exploring the eastern district of Hong Kong around Shau Kei Wan and the Hongkong museum of Coastal Defense and had a sketch together there. Warmed ourselves up before his workshop in the late afternoon.

It was really a perfect day to sketch out and the APA drawing class went to the second campus at Pom Fu Lam Chapel.
It was built in 1875, this beautiful neo-gothic chapel is without equal in Hong Kong. Although the Chapel isn’t open to public, the architecture and its surroundings are gorgeous.
We spent around 3 hours there and back with a bonus, the beautiful sunset to end the fruitful day.

We had a great and unforgettable sketching trip to Baoding, Hebei. Thank you for and for their hospitality that we enjoyed every part of the journey and all through the days.
This was one of the best part of the trip, we all paint on a long roll of paper and kind of “battle” with the Vietnam artists and how stunning when put together.
