My outfit is always simple and plain.
But I love having that one little patterned purse for a tiny pop. Not too much, just right.

Agree?

I think we need a hint of pink for this time when everything seems so uncertain.
Another lovely piece I enjoyed making.

There is a certain kind of peace in knowing exactly where everything is.
I’ve always kept my daily style simple, it feels like a quiet backdrop for the rest of my life.
But I have a soft spot for these little vintage style kisslock purses.
There’s something grounding about the touch of floral patterns and the satisfying snap of the clasp.
They tuck perfectly into my tote, keeping my small essentials tidy and handy, while adding just a tiny, intentional bit of charm to my day.

🌙Slowly finding beauty in the details.

Many people have been asking for videos teaching how to sew these purses with more details.

First of all, let me be clear about how I see my handmade brand.

I’m a maker, not a Guru.

I know many people think that my work looks simple and easy to make, just few simple reels could’ve explain it all, especially for those who are much expertise in this industry.

But for me, this is my handmade brand.
I’ve been self-learning and working on all these for almost 5 years where I’m still refining every detail, improving.
Including my way of handling everything such as, my choices of materials, drafting, art, my mindset, my attitude, my technique, etc.

I’m obsessed with details and care deeply about quality. As a consumer myself, I don’t like spending money on things that aren’t worth it. So I take full responsibility for that when I’m a seller.

After my consideration, I’ve decided I don’t want to follow the marketing trends.
I’m not about to squeeze out some free tutorials or patterns because I just want to focus on my crafts.
All I want is to be able to make, not to teach.
(It’s just me, my way.)
I have not planned to do all these to be a Guru.
For me, teaching is a whole different role, one that also demands real dedication.
I know myself well enough that I can’t do both things at the same time, especially when I’m a full time mom with a toddler and a teen to raise.

From day one, this little brand of mine has been built on holding myself to the highest standard, so I can truly feel proud of my work and always deliver something worthy to everyone.

So I hope my little purses would find their new owners who would truly cherish them.
Even it would take longer, or I would sell fewer, that’s okay. I have patience and I’m grateful.

Caught the summer sunset while finishing this purse.
This fabric is like the secret garden in the summer.
The size is perfect for lipsticks and credit cards.

I love this fabric pattern and I think it looks really cute when small on hand. Perfect size for carrying jewelleries or tiny accessories in handbags.

Today, I was feeling like these simple, deep blue blossoms. I’ve tightened the width and extended the length for an old-style eyeglass pouch.

A random thought after someone judging the way I live my quiet life:
“Some people need others from the outer to feed their soul, finding sustenance in belonging, touch, and shared experience.
Some people need to grow their inner for their soul to be fulfilled, discovering that the deepest nourishment comes from silence, self-reflection, and the slow work of becoming whole.
One seeks the mirror, the other, the source.”
