Dear friends and colleagues of the Negative Space,
Today, we have officially moved out of the Foo Tak Building, the place where we have called our base for the past four years.
Throughout these years, we have had many shows and events, and it has indeed been a great journey.
The fact is, our programs have always been a collective effort and we would like to thank every artist, curator and art practitioner that we have worked with, as well as everyone who has visited and joined our programs. Without you all, we wouldn’t have made this far.
Of utmost importance, we would like to express our gratitude and love for the Foo Tak community. It is in this community where we have felt the most sincere kindness and support. This sincerity remains a spirit that is now deeply planted in our hearts, and from it shall grow future art and cultural practices that are driven by immanent care.
Being in this city, at this time, it is easy for one to fall for inertia and apathy. Yet we believe it is with sincere care, in forms of artistic practices or others, that we can remain engaged with each others; It is through this “togetherness” that we can all carry on.
Thank you all and we wish everyone a very good year ahead.
