About last Saturday night's concert, 《Stillness in Motion》. ✨
Hitomi Shiu (clarinet) and Michelle Lam (piano) beautifully navigated the transition from the unique energy of the 20th century to the deep, lyrical soul of Brahms. A lovely journey through the true tonal colors of the clarinet!

Stillness in Motion: Sensations of the Clarinet – S’way Young Artist Series

Experience a night of vivid musical opposites—where the soulful, lyrical emotions of Romanticism meet the uplifting and quirky sounds of the 20th century.

Clarinetist Hitomi Shiu and pianist Michelle Lam have been collaborating in London over the past year. Together, they will present to you works by Lutosławski, John Ireland, Lovreglio’s and Brahms. Featuring composers from four different European nations, this concert explores and illustrates the different characters and tonal colors of the clarinet. Audience will be able to experience the contrasting styles of the clarinet, from fiery virtuosity to calmness and idleness in music.

誠邀你來體驗一場充滿強烈對比的音樂之夜——當浪漫主義深情而抒的情感，遇上二十世紀高昂且獨特的旋律。

【Guy Braunstein Violin Masterclass • 蓋伊·布朗斯坦小提琴大師班】

Sway 有幸邀請到前柏林愛樂樂團首席Guy Braunstein蒞臨工作室指導。從基礎技巧到樂曲演繹，悉心的講解與教導，讓各位學員獲益匪淺。

這位以色列資深小提琴家，29歲便出任柏林愛樂樂團首席，創下樂團史上最年輕任職紀錄。2013年起，他專注於獨奏與室內樂領域，編曲實力同樣出眾，曾將貝多芬、克萊斯勒等大師的經典作品，改編為多款室內樂版本。

We are honored to have Guy Braunstein, former Principal Violin of the Berlin Philharmonic, join us at Sway Music Studio. His thoughtful guidance on fundamental techniques and musical interpretation has benefited all participants greatly.

A distinguished Israeli violinist, he became the Principal Violin of the Berlin Philharmonic at age 29, the youngest musician ever to take this role. Since 2013, he has focused on solo and chamber music performance. A talented arranger as well, he has reimagined classic works by Beethoven, Kreisler and other masters into various chamber music arrangements.

揉合超凡技藝與無限創意，小提琴家兼指揮家 Guy Braunstein 無疑是古典樂界的泰斗。2000年，年僅29歲的他創下歷史，成為舉世聞名的柏林愛樂樂團史上最年輕的首席。在2000至2013年逾十年的任期內，他在指揮大師 Claudio Abbado 和 Simon Rattle 的帶領下，為樂團塑造了標誌性的傳奇音色，其後他卸下重任，全面展開其璀璨的獨奏與指揮生涯。

如今，伯朗斯坦活躍於全球各大頂尖音樂舞台，屢與 Martha Argerich 、 Daniel Barenboim 及郎朗等音樂巨星同台獻技。除了對傳統曲目的精湛演繹，他更以卓越的改編才華備受讚譽——從浦契尼的歌劇詠嘆調、柴可夫斯基的芭蕾舞曲，到披頭四的流行金曲，他都能為其注入獨特的小提琴靈魂。他現時以一把製於1679年的Francesco Ruggieri 名琴，持續為全球樂迷演奏動人樂章。

音樂傳愛，善意延續 💛

一連兩小時嘅慈善演出，喺赤柱廣場圓滿落幕！

一眾小小音樂家以悠揚色士風樂韻，為兒童癌症基金一班勇敢嘅生命小鬥士送上滿滿鼓勵與溫暖。

今次活動所有籌得款項，將會全數捐贈予兒童癌症基金，全力支援對抗病魔嘅小朋友。誠意呼籲各位繼續踴躍捐款。來年我哋繼續同行，以音樂行善，守護每一個生命💪

再次多謝各位嘅踴躍參與同支持❤️

Music spreads love, kindness carries on 💛

Our two-hour charity performance has successfully come to a wonderful closing at Stanley Plaza.

Young musicians delivered heartfelt saxophone melodies, bringing courage and warmth to all the brave little warriors supported by the Children’s Cancer Foundation.

All proceeds raised from this event will be fully donated to the Children’s Cancer Foundation to support children who are fighting cancer.

We sincerely urge everyone to continue supporting us with donations. We will keep walking this meaningful path in the years ahead, doing good through music and protecting every precious life 💪
