Always a perfect time to dance the old good vibes.

Ballroom dance, a type of social dancing, including the popular dance style of Waltz, Foxtrot, Tango, etc. “Ball” is derived from the Latin word “ballare” which means “to dance”. It serves as a form of history, passion and enthusiasm to their lovers.

Root of ballroom dance could be found in early 20th century and originated from court dance. Each ballroom dance style have their own aesthetics and rhythms. Standard dance focuses on the smoothness and elegance while Latin focus on an expression of energy. The commonality is that they are all performed by a pair of dancers, and danced in close hold.

People might call dance a word. I call it LIFE.

Dance is the timeless interpretation of life. So is LATIN.

Latin dance originated from the traditional dances of Latin America. It is comprised of five dances, including Cha Cha, Samba, Rumba, Paso, Doble, and Jive.

Under the influence of European colonisation of Latin America, cultures of European and African were adopted as the element of Latin dance. Africans express their own culture through the dance and music, while Europeans dance as a form of entertainment.

A & B Dance Academy is a dance studio with world renowned teachers, who cater to students of different skill levels and age.
We provide group and private classes on Latin and Ballroom dances.
With a dance floor of over 1,000 square feet, this is the right place if you are looking for a place to practice performance or routine.

Ballroom Dance
Ballroom dance is a set of partner dances, which are enjoyed both socially and competitively around the world, mostly because of its performance and entertainment aspects.
Ballroom dancing is also widely enjoyed on stage, film, and television.
Common dance styles are Ballroom: Waltz, Tango, Foxtrot and Latin: Rumba, Cha-
