Playback is a limited company registered in Hong Kong and founded by Eric Byron & P. Grant in 2005. The company founded Playback to serve as a sound sourcing company specializing in the matching of both venues and artists according to their unique style and ambiance. After discovering that Hong Kong’s nightlife lacked an understanding “matchmaker”, Playback was created. Byron himself, a profession
al DJ, has over a decade of experience under his belt and has since successfully created a solution whereby in 2010, Playback became the preferred choice for booking talents, artists and venues in Hong Kong. Playing “matchmaker” and sourcing both artist and music for key establishments in the night life industry of Hong Kong, Playback has played a pivotal role in the booming industry of Hong Kong’s LKF and Central clubbing district.
