🎭【Thank You for Joining Scènes de la vie de Bohème! | 感謝前來欣賞《波西米亞生活場景》！】

Co-organised by the Department of English and Communication and the Culture Promotion Committee of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, in collaboration with the French May Arts Festival and Opera Hong Kong, this reimagined adaptation of Puccini’s La Bohème brought the story of love, loss, art and life in the Chinese cultural diaspora of Paris to the Jockey Club Auditorium at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University last week. Our talented artists delivered stunning performances that deeply moved the audience, bringing the characters to life with passion and artistry! / 由香港理工大學英文及傳意學系、文化推廣委員會主辦，並與法國五月藝術節及香港歌劇院合作，改編自浦契尼經典歌劇《波希米亞生涯》的《波希米亞生活場景》剛於上星期在香港理工大學賽馬會綜藝館精彩上演。作品描繪了一群年輕窮困藝術家從放蕩不羈的青春步向肩負責任的成年之間、自我探索的動人旅程，展現愛與失落、藝術與貧窮，以及體現生命富足深意的人生故事。各位藝術家落力詮釋劇中角色，帶來了精湛演出，以熱情與歌唱造詣感動了全場觀眾！

Some say it’s an opera buffa because of its humour, while others argue melodramma giocoso fits better since it blends comedy with heartfelt emotion.
