“Living Living Artist: Kila Cheung Solo Exhibition” is currently on view at Tang Contemporary Art in Wong Chuk Hang, until July 12.

The exhibition showcases a selection of paintings, wood sculptures, and installation pieces by Hong Kong artist Kila Cheung.

For Cheung, artistic creation is not a calculated or deliberate process, but rather an instinctive and vital response to life itself. In an age where Artificial Intelligence can generate images with effortless speed, his work invites us to reflect deeply on the essence of being an artist. He embraces the distinctly human qualities—our sense of time, emotional pressure, joy, sorrow, and the authentic connections that tie an artwork to the living world—that no machine can replicate.

The National Theater Company of Korea will present Shakespeare's beloved comedy "Twelfth Night" on 20 and 21 June at The Box in Freespace, West Kowloon Cultural District.

As part of the Second Hong Kong International Shakespeare Festival organised by Tang Shu-wing Theatre Studio, this production reimagines the classic as a hilarious and lively story set on the scenic Nongmeori coast during the Joseon Dynasty. Under the direction of award-winning Korean director Im Do-wan, the performance features his signature dazzling wordplay, along with dynamic music, sound effects, and rhythmical movement. It blends Shakespeare’s timeless wit and romantic entanglements with rich Korean theatrical traditions.
