[GRAB YOUR TICKET NOW] Titled "Inner Child", this inaugural Art x Health workshop is organised by and led by . The workshop aims to reconnect participants with their inner child, fostering happiness, inner peace, and fulfillment in their lives.

The current exhibition at the gallery, "Guardians of Innocence" by Argentine artist Javier Gonzalez Burgos, complements the theme of Inner Child, exploring the delicate balance between vulnerability and strength through depictions of childlike innocence.

“It's ok to feel silly sometimes, I want to give the positive “haha” energy to others. I want to inspire people around me to see things in different light. Life is sophisticated, healing is for everyone, we can be kind to ourselves and embrace our emotions and details in life.” -

“Those who are different are still alone in my artworks. They are waiting to be heard, meanwhile they survive, and there is hope there, because, they are the kind of new thing, the upcoming, the unknown, patiently in the shadows waiting for their moment to step into the light.”

It’s the last day of the show tomorrow! Grab the last chance!

Cage is a symbol of prison and boundary. In this painting, the cage has been broken in a similar way a paper is torn, underlying a new perspective of breaking free. Aka believes if one has a wide heart to embrace all as the vast ocean depicted in the drawing, he/she can break through the "invisible cage" surrounding them and set themselves free. One should plant his/her garden and their own soul instead of waiting for nothing, from then they can finally seek their ways to leave their own prisons.

Happyland is the origin of Aza - a planet where Aza and her friends live, but they are all living on their own and carried by a bubble-like container for protecting themselves from harming each other. Looking for methods to break the bubbles, Aza and her friends are asked to learn the ways of healing pain and sadness when they visit Earth, so they are now on a journey to Earth.

“Pieces of dismantled realities are tossed into an axonometric sandbox, like dice upon a table.” - .mills

Born in New York in 1991, Wyatt Mills earned a BFA in painting from The School of Visual Arts. Later he relocated to Los Angeles and studied painting at the Berlin Institute of Arts in Germany.

Mills offers the viewer a preverbal technicolour mirror, combining abstract expressionism and modern notions of Americana to examine western influence, the human condition, and interpersonal strife. Stylistically ambidextrous, Mills assembles a varied barrage of techniques
and applications - merging the works within figurative, elemental forces. The bombardment of subject matter from Mills mimics our abundant culture of confusion. His radical gesturism and pictorial irony trigger a flurry of associations and allusions that assemble the viewers’ own uniquely incoherent daydream.

The body language of the cherub in this painting, “Learning to Fly”, suggests a mixture of excitement, trepidation, and determination as children prepare to take their first steps into the world as an adult. It captures a time in one’s life of challenge and possibility, of uncertainty and excitement, and of self-discovery and growth. It celebrates the spirit of curiousity and resilience in young lives as they navigate the complex journey of growing up and finding their place in the world.

The exhibition, titled "The Modern Abyss", explores the concept of the unknown and uncertain, which exists beyond our perception and interpretation.

Divided into two subthemes, "Image/Reality" and "Order/Chaos", the show features six contemporary artists who challenge our assumptions and push us to reconsider the ways we experience and understand our surroundings.

ᴍᴀx ʙᴇʀʀʏ (ʙ.1987, ᴀᴜꜱᴛʀᴀʟɪᴀ)

Max Berry’s work is comprised of semi-fictional paintings, bucolic scenes, vignettes and simple observation. Particular attention to line, colour, and the play between light and shadow reveals a single-minded attempt to slow time down. The paintings work in concert: dreamlike images of memory, levitation, water, and clouds condense to produce a companionable silence - an open invitation to the viewer to examine for themselves what they see.

Max Berry has received the Australian Council for the Arts ‘Artstart Grant’ and awarded the Lloyd Rees Memorial Youth Art Award. He has been selected as a finalist in numerous art prizes including The Art Gallery of New South Wales Wynne Prize, The S H Ervin Gallery Salon des Refusés and the William Fletcher Travelling Art Scholarship. Consecutive solo exhibitions interstate and overseas since have led to acknowledgment in publications such Artist Profile and the Sydney Morning Herald. He has been selected for an artist residency programs at Bundanon Trust, Cill Rialaig Art Center, Ireland and Nelimarkka Museum, Finland.
