William Lim - Wow what a treat! 23 paintings, all executed at the West Lake in Hangzhou. Painted over the course of the 4 seasons en plein air, in the style of the Impressionists... capturing light and the surrounding ambiance, and also treasured moments of the now. Bravo!

Jang Seung-taik - finally a solo show in Hong Kong featuring his iconic layered paintings! His arduous ongoing exploration of colour is demonstrated by his technique involving custom-made brushes to apply semi-transparent hues onto flat canvases (and plexiglass), layer after layer. The interaction of the multiple colours subtly transforms into depth, reflecting an almost philosophical exploration of self that accompanies this meditative & cathartic process. Stunning!

As a fan of Kunqu Opera, Hangzhou-based artist Wu Shan portrays elements of Kunqu in his works through strong lyricism & intricate rhythms. At the same time, lightness weightlessness form the overarching theme of his smooth delicate lacquer oeuvres - the core of his visual language. They are an embodiment of his life philosophy to live simply & authentically. Until 14 March.

'No Man's Land' showcases Marian Ang’s works created in the HART Studio Programme within the past year.
They are fragments of stories from the Chinese diaspora about women & motherhood, and intertwined with dislocated objects - evidence of lives lived in unfamiliar places. The artist creates new systems of identity and belonging by weaving these into the narratives of Chinese diaspora... both revealing and reflective.

Candy anyone? 'Somewhere better than this place / Nowhere better than this place' is the 1st exhibition of Cuban-born American artist Felix Gonzalez-Torres (1957–1996) in Hong Kong. One of the most significant artists to emerge during the 1980s - 1990s, Gonzalez-Torres is known for his reduced formal vocabulary, conceptual rigour, and a evocative use of everyday materials. Featuring examples from key bodies of work by the artist, the presentation at the gallery extends into the city, and seeks out a deeper resonance within Hong Kong's complex urban fabric, cultural history, and evolving identity. Until 14 Feburary.

Not to be missed! A major retrospective of works by German artist, Gerhard Richter - considered one of the most influential contemporary artists of his generation. Continuing its tradition of landmark monographic exhibitions devoted to leading figures of 20th/21st century art, the Fondation is showing 275 of the artist's works, stretching from 1962 to 2024. The exhibition includes oil paintings, glass and steel sculptures, pencil and ink drawings, watercolours, and overpainted photographs. It brings together many of the artist's most significant works up to his decision in 2017 to stop painting (while still continuing to draw.) In chronological order, each section spans approximately a decade and traces his artistic evolution - from his early photo-based paintings to his final abstractions.
Until 2 March, 2026.

'Bad TV' is the 1st solo exhibition in Asia by Scottish artist France-Lise McGurn. “Fine art, high art, bad TV” - McGurn folds them all into the same frame. Growing up in an era when the TV was never off, her works reflect and reference the constant hum of the TV set; her paintings behave like screens - looping, fading, reappearing; colours drifting in and out. They play with the tension between what’s considered culture and what’s dismissed as noise, but best of all, she has created an immersive space within the gallery with site-specific works that envelop her audience. Until 13 March 2026.
