I first saw this lovely tea shop on TV two years ago, introducing cats in hk shops and loved their story. I sketched their two cats (貓仔and貓女) in their favourite surroundings at this vintage shop.
I was so lucky that I had the chance to finally visit the shop with my sketch and do one more before they close due to the redevelopment of Kowloon City and the owners retiring. They were very welcoming as I sat in a corner, taking in the last details of this family owned shop as they served their loyal customers for so many years.

Enjoying the long summer days in London and practising a 1hr 15mins sketch.This time, I went straight in with watercolour as I wanted to quickly capture the light from the afternoon sun on this beautiful, grand building. I only had a brush pen and my mini travel colour palette but satisfied with the result because I finished my sketch before meeting a friend for dinner.

I just received these lovely photos from Stitch and his family. I drew Stitch in my sketchbook a while ago and during that time, he was braving some medical issues but thankfully, he overcame them, thanks to his wonderful family who gave him all the love and care that he needed. He has grown to be a handsome and sweet boy, and I wish him a happy and healthy life always!
This piece is one of my favourite cat drawings, and I hope that I have captured his unique features...those eyes and that little chin!
