由跨媒體藝術家梁基爵 (GayBird) 及羅穎綸 (Vanissa) 策劃的《飄飄然》已圓滿結束。在這一個月裡，我們帶來超過40場演出，吸引數千位參觀者。感謝創作、演出、製作團隊的努力，當然不少得觀眾支持！

《飄飄然》亦標誌著當代藝術 X 莊子哲學計劃「寐知」的完結。透過跨界藝術，我們重新詮釋古代哲思，並在藝術中連結當下。

回顧第一階段《寐知 · 問物》，由著名漫畫藝術家利志達以全新畫作回應策展人就《齊物論》所提出的提問。第二階段《寐知 · 物化》由畫作發展至流動影像，邀來藝術家林志輝 Jason、梁琬琪 Jenn、葉文華（小强），運用生物數據裝置和利志達的畫作，呈現媒體藝術和影像作品。

這些探索昇華至期終展演《飄飄然》，帶來如夢此幻的互動體驗。除了上述幾位藝術家，亦邀來四位聲音藝術家／敲擊樂手：鄭美君 Emily、李伊翱 Eyo、胡天納 Jonathan 及余林橞 Karen 演出，為觀眾帶來更多視聽衝擊。

特別鳴謝好青年荼毒室成員豬文鄺雋文博士及四哥李康廷博士在「寐知」計劃中主講三節分享會，亦感謝Roger 李敬恒博士在期終展演中帶領一節導賞團。

Co-curated by interdisciplinary artists GayBird and Vanissa Law, “Dreamlike Dream” concluded after over 40 performances in the past month. Our heartfelt thanks go to the creative team, and of course, to our audience. Thousands of visitors joined us on this journey, and we are deeply grateful for your presence and curiosity.

This closing of this third phase also marks the completion of our Contemporary Art x Zhuangzi Philosophy project, “Knowless”. Through interdisciplinary practices, we sought to reinterpret Zhuangzi’s wisdom, in a contemporary context– bridging “art” and “NOW”.

The first phase, “The Query”, featured renowned artist Li Chi Tak, who responded to the curators' questions drawn from “On the Equality of Things” through his painting. In the second phase,“The Metamorphosis”, the project moved from still images to motion, with interactive artists Jason Lam, Jenn Leung, and Mick Yip creating interactive installations and moving images using biometric data alongside Li’s artworks.

These explorations culminated in the final phase, “Dreamlike Dream”, where works from the previous phases blossomed into an immersive, dream-like experience. In addition to returning collaborators, we were joined by four sound artists and percussionists—Emily Cheng, Eyo Li, Jonathan Wu, and Karen Yu– whose powerful audiovisual contributions created truly unforgettable moments.

Special thanks to Dr. Kwong Chun Man and Dr. Li Hong Ting from Corrupt the Youth for leading 3 Sharing Sessions throughout the “Knowless” project, and Dr. Roger Lee for leading a Guided Tour in the final phase.

《飄飄然》步入尾聲，只剩下一星期！仍在心思思的你不妨聽聽觀眾觀後感：

此外，我們早前邀來李敬恒博士 Roger 帶領一節嘉賓導賞團，他在《明報》「開眼」文章中分享：

// 「寐知」即是夢寐中的覺知，也是對未知的覺知。真我本身並不等同於莊周或蝴蝶，而是那個能夠採納莊周與蝴蝶的觀點看事物的抽離反省能力。這種抽離反省能力，令我們意識到自己對世事的了解注定充滿未知、誤解與偏見。

放開對特定事物、觀點與身份的執着，把真我釋放出來，弄清並且面對自己的限制，可以避免偏見、減少被不知名的因素支配，選擇更恰當的觀點，靈活應對種種問題。//

Earlier this week, Dr. Roger Lee delivered a guided tour and offered an insightful reading of the work. He shared that: –
“Knowless” is not just about the awareness within a dream, but also the awareness of the unknown. The true self is not either Zhuangzi or the butterfly; rather, it lies in our capacity to detach, reflect and shift perspectives. This capacity helps us realise that the world is inevitably shaped by uncertainties, misunderstandings and biases.

To release our true self, we must loosen our attachments to specific things, viewpoints, and identities. By embracing our limitations, we can avoid prejudice, ease the anxiety of unknowns, choose perspectives with intention, and respond with flexibility.

【媒體藝術 X 莊子哲學展覽《寐知．物化》現已開放；影像流動於掌控之間】𝐊𝐧𝐨𝐰𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬: 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐩𝐡𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐬 – Shifting between rules and chaos

展覽《寐知．物化》誠邀觀眾前來探索「 #物化」思想在數位時代的新可能，體驗身體數據與 #流動影像的即時對話。讓身體自然運作，放下控制，感受自己如何與環境共振共存，思考 #莊子如何啟發我們面對生活不斷更迭的本質。

萬物相通，生死只是形態流轉的過程。我們該如何在變化之中不抗拒、不驚懼？如何在萬變之際，放下向外追尋的執念，不讓外在的變化侵擾內心的自然本性？答案或許早已潛藏在身體之中。

𝐊𝐧𝐨𝐰𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬: 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐩𝐡𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐬 invites audiences to explore new possibilities of the concept of "transformation" in the digital age, experiencing the real-time dialogue between biological data and moving images. Let your body move on autopilot– surrender control. Not to act, but to witness how we resonate and coexist with the external world, and to reflect on how Zhuangzi inspires us to face the ever-shifting essence of life.

All things are interconnected, and life and death are merely stages in the continuous flow of form. To face change without resistance or fear requires an openness to the shifting nature of all things. How, amidst endless transformations, can we release our attachment to outward pursuits and keep external change from disturbing the natural essence of our inner being? The answers have perhaps long been hidden within our own bodies.

【《寐知．物化》分享會： #好青年荼毒室四哥暢談媒體藝術與觀眾參與互動的運用及感官刺激 💬 】

在展覽《寐知．物化》中，藝術家巧妙地將不同生物數據融入 #媒體藝術作品，將觀眾的心跳、眼動和腦電波這些「無為而為」的身體訊號轉化為作品的一部分，並與觀眾共同構建 #動態影像，讓身體成為既是感知的載體，也是參與的媒介。

為更深入地探討這種互動關係，團隊特邀 #好青年荼毒室 #李康廷博士 (四哥) 主講一節以「存在計算中：媒體藝術的感官與演算」為題的 #分享會，討論感官和身體在 #藝術與科技中的角色。人如何僅憑「存在」，影響和掌控作品？近年興起的「 #沉浸式體驗」，又如何重塑我們對身體、存在與互動的理解與想像？

分享會後，策展人 #梁基爵將親自帶領導賞，讓參與者體驗作品並了解展覽的策展理念。

In "Knowless: The Metamorphosis", heartbeat, eye movements, and brainwaves become the core elements of dynamic media and visual artworks. The viewer’s presence becomes both the medium and the subject matter of these installations.

In the upcoming Sharing Session – “Existence Calculated: Sensory and Translation in Media Art,” Dr. Li Hong Ting from Corrupt the Youth will explore how the senses are reconfigured through technology and immersive experiences, and in turn, how we influence the artworks. How does art reshape the way we understand the body, agency, and and our relationship with data, and machines in media art?

Curator GayBird will lead a Guided Tour to share his curatorial concept and introduce the artworks at the end of the sharing session.

【媒體藝術 X 莊子哲學展覽《寐知 · 物化》共同感知虛實交界】Media Arts X Zhuangzi Philosophy – 𝐊𝐧𝐨𝐰𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬: 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐩𝐡𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐬

你有沒有想過：透過 #媒體藝術和 #生物數據裝置 🧬，你的心跳、腦電波和眼睛活動頻率，能與藝術家隔空互動，共同建構出流動且多變的動態影像作品？🖥️

在莊子哲學中，「物化」指萬物皆在流動變化，沒有固定的狀態。🔎 第二階段展覽《寐知 · 物化》策展人 #梁基爵及 #羅穎綸聯同藝術家 #林志輝、 #梁琬琪及 #葉文華（小強），透過生物數據裝置，將不停在流動變化的人體數據，從第一階段展覽中利志達的畫作轉向動態影像，繼續探索哲學與藝術的交匯。

展覽於7月26日起於雲咸街的藝術文化空間Wyndham Social展出，引領觀眾在真幻之間重新探索自我存在的感知基礎。

Have you ever thought about how your heartbeat, brainwaves, and eye movements can interact with artists through media art and biological data devices to create moving images?

In Zhuangzi’s philosophy, ”Transformation” suggests that all things are interconnected and constantly shifting with no fixed boundaries. The second phase of the exhibition, “Knowless: The Metamorphosis”, is curated by and in collaboration with artists , , and (Siu Keung). Using bio-data installations, they transform the ever-changing human biological data into dynamic moving images derived from Li Chi Tak’s paintings shown in the first phase, continuing to explore the intersection of philosophy and art.

The exhibition will be held at Wyndham Social starting from 26 July. Come and rediscover the perceptual threads that shape how we understand ourselves and the world around us.

當代藝術 X 中國哲學跨界項目「寐知」由藝術家梁基爵GayBird及羅穎綸Vanissa策劃。項目透過三階段展示和探尋莊子哲學與藝術的啟發，並以不同藝術形式回應古代智慧。
Contemporary Art x Chinese Philosophy project 𝐊𝐧𝐨𝐰𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬 is curated by multimedia artists GayBird and Vanissa Law. It explores the inspiration from Zhuangzi’s philosophy and art through a three-phase exhibition, responding to ancient wisdom through various art forms.
