๐ฆ๐ต๐ถ๐๐ต๐ถ๐ฑ๐ผ๐บ๐ถ๐ฎ is a Japanese artist with deep Latin American roots. Her upbringing was shaped by the vibrant beauty of both Japanese and Colombian culturesโa fusion of colours and sensibilities that ignited her passion for artโs power to convey profound social and personal narratives.
A graduate of Tama Art University, she was awarded the Barbara Shapiro Award for Excellence at the New Beat International textile art competition in Oaxaca, Mexico, while still a student. Now based in the United States as a full-time artist, Shishidomiaโs work has been exhibited globally, with notable showcases in Japan, Hong Kong, Korea, and the US.
